that would make an awesome movie.
just imagine the music theyd have in it... full epic remixes of the soundtrack (although imo, the best kind of music is heavily orchestral with lots of guitars - kind of like Dimmu Borgir, perhaps minus the vocals and the OVER 9000 bpm drums)
so many epic moments... that would be a 10 hour movie or so, if you include social banter _________________

The game tends to take me about 18 hours or so to play and that's not exactly taking my time....does that mean that The Movie of The Book would be at least as long?
...Whoa.
That would be a seriously epic movie at some 18 hours runtime; that'd rival the entire Harry Potter series for length, I think.
Peter Jackson would definitely be the one to get to direct Terranigma: The Epic Motion Picture if it could ever be made. *nods*
....but who would play Ark? (And the other main characters?) |

christian bale as roy.
uma thurman as fyda, if she wasn't that tall.
ark is a problem, he's so young... I would like to see mark wahlberg as ark, but he's almost too old to be digitally made younger.
besides, one had to generally work over the characters. a blue thatch just looks silly in movies _________________

What about the enevitable Peter Jackson Moment of Gruesomeness? Bloody Mary seems a good candidate.
No-name actor for the hero and a star-powered supporting cast FTW! _________________ "What is man? A miserable little pile of secrets." - Andre Malraux |

Don't forget much of those 18+ hours is girnding through the dungeons. Which would get boring fast. So you'd have maybe 1 or 2 confrontations per dungeon, and any major plot points, then the boss. So you can cut it down quite a bit. |

shouldn't be a problem to get to 5:30 or so for me. I need about 8-9 hours with evolving all the cities and getting all secrets and crystals and stuff
since I normally take my time to play through, I could make an additional speedrun this year. THAT MEANS I CAN PLAY IT TWICE!! _________________

Go to a temple in Tibet for the next 10 years and lead a life of meditation, THEN return to the western world and play Terranigma then. The experience ought to be awesome! |
