I have Advent Children. Methinks they focused too much on Cloud, and they should have had the other characters in it more instead of just at the end to launch Cloud up some 50 stories into the air to lay the smackdown on Bahamut Sin.
...though Vincent asking where he could get a phone = for the win.
Though, with the flaws that the movie had, I did enjoy it. In fact, the bf got me the limited edition version of the movie (which comes with a nice outer box, the 20-minute animated feature "Last Order" on the second dvd, the novelization of what happened before in the two years for Barret, Tifa, and Cid, the movie script, and 9 postcards). Sure, it's adding to Squeenix's pockets, but damn it. D: Movie script. _________________

I heard that last order was better done than Advent Children. _________________

Storywise, yes
Advent Children's story was just horrible, lack of background for other characters =
Who were the 3 Silver haired children? Were they orphens? Clones? Invitro-sons? _________________ You're just a human being, my dear, sweet child |

The animations of AC is just as bad. All the lines of action were, in fact, completely straight which is compensated for by the impossibly fast pace of action and none of the characters actually hurting each other. _________________

hm ... poor animations .... poor story ... no gameplay ... that's what I think 'bout it. If you don't mind me saying so the film as a medium is outdated since games offer so much more! I think Square should stop messing the fuck up and concentrate on making FF Games a bit more. I don't need to watch films as long as I've got games to play, that's my opinion. _________________ AtW Studios

Personally speaking, I think the graphics can go to hell. I'd really love to see an FF game that break away from the standard ATB fare. _________________
