*although the hammers were indeed removed from hand Arashi remains undetered, drawing his sword he continues his flight towards the unsuspecting everphoenix Everphoenix, upon nearing his target he adjusts the angle of his wings so they act as flaps allowing Arashi to slow down leaving him directly behind his target, in place he swings his blade*

the air around me is now saturated with distorted time magic, anything that enters will be locked in time. to put it bluntly, time isnt moving in the area around me.

*a shield of white hot flames appear around Arashi and another encases the arena and it's combatents, Arashi's health drops to 1, he is now invincible, around the central spherical shield 25 flames appear (anyone played chrono trigger?) the outer shield begins to close in, (i'll be fair) 10 turns til defeat, or in everphoenix's case, imprisonment*

hint, only while my shield lasts, what do you think the flames are there for? hit the right one and the central shield lowers, with 1 hp i'll fall quickly

even if i cant hit you, its useless if you cant hit me. as long as i can channel my spell, youre going to have a hell of a hard time getting to me. every tried swinging a sword in an area where time literally stands still?

ever tried moving through a wall of white hot flame that doesn't move? that's what you'll be facing once it reaches the time bubble of yours, and once the flame encases your bubble the newly created sphere will implode is the time bubble stops, taking you with it, sure you'll be alive, but you can only hold out for so long, btw teleportation won't help you, this fire will destroy any molecular particles that try to pass through it and as teleportation is simplye seperating, moving and then reassembling the particles i'd say you have a slim choice of action, btw i'd prefer it if you give the number of the flame you hit.

thats conventional teleportation. there are other ways to move around. especially if i can manipulate time.

*presses hand to hilt of sword, making the tip glow white-blue*
*swings sword through the air, leaving a residue of lightning behind the blade *

and since time is frozen in my bubble for everything i want it to be, the lightning stays. it makes a distinct pattern in the air around me.

hehe just try to approach me, one false move and ill trigger the spell.

oh and what happens if i hit the wrong flame?
