A couple of things I noticed....

While playing Terranigma, I noticed a couple of things; the first is, if you get down to 1HP in the fight with Dark Gaia, that massive wave-motion gun attack stops halving your health - obviously, since half your current health is less than 1, it rounds down to a 0HP attack. It just looked a little funny to me when this happened and it was taking off nothing from me each time.



Under the heading of a possible new Terranigma rumour....:
I spotted this giant hole in the bottom right of one of the screens in the Ra Tree level. There seems to be a vine leading down into this hole, and it makes me wonder where it might lead to....but there's no way to get up on that ledge, well not one that I can see. Does anyone have a cheat to allow Ark to climb up and investigate that hole?

that's not anything new, there's a way down somewhere that'll lead round to there. i've been through it before.

Really, Arashi? So there is an actual way to get down that hole? 'Cos I see it every time but I've been unable to get to it so far, the ledge is too high for Ark to jump up onto.

yeah i can't remember where but i'm sure you can go up through that, when it comes to the ledge you can only get down, not go up

Ahhh, okay; I've been trying to go down through that hole, but now it makes sense. I'll look for a vine up from the floor below then, thanks.

Ah, I finally see where that vine comes up from - in the room with the Leaf Armour and the second magirock (just off from the Ra Dewdrop), I never noticed that vine on the wall right next to the Magirock before.

what was the point of the block? i mean no one ever really used it except for when fighting Dark Gaia, i mean it could have had the tractor beam affect on gems at least

I actually use the block to deflect energy attacks throughout the game, whenever baddies use them; it's useful early on to block Cadet and Guardner attacks.

And I also keep trying to use it summons gems, before remembering that that's Soulblazer and IoT, not Terranigma....
