I think it'll be a general consensus that OoT is the best.... thereby rendering the question pointless. Razz

And LttP gets second. As much as I want to give that honour to Wind Waker, I can't. Confused

Link to the Past
I'd also go with Adventures of Zelda
the original NES version which pulled me in

Ocarina of Time. I would say Wind Waker next, but I'm stuck and I haven't finished it yet. Very Happy

Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past get even scores for me... well, I can't decide between the two. Sometimes I want classic 2D adventuring, sometimes I want to run around in glorious 3D... good to have choice. I loathe four swords cos I have no one to play with Mad

It won't be easy to do, but this new Zelda may be the one to knock OoT off the top for me. It'll take a near-flawless effort, but I'm really excited about this new one.

Graphics wise, it's already won, but I'm going to wait to see the storyline.

.... ><!!

I hate when people favour graphics over anything else. That's why game makers have been creating an influx of graphically-charged games that suck.

Graphics are just something extra you get when you play the game to me. I look more for gameplay, story and music before I look at graphics.

And, just a thought... anyone else remember what the Wind Waker was gonna look like? There were some screens a long while ago (Link fighting Ganon, stuff like that, in beautiful rendered graphics) and then they changed it to WW. Think that this might be that game they changed into WW?

*Agrees 100%

Graphics are not what makes a game enjoyable, despite what some people would have you believe. The idea that "Nintendo is too kiddy" comes from this (most of Wind Waker's negative attention comes from it's graphics.... a friend of mine won't play it because of how it looks). It takes a real video game lover to appreciate a game for what it really is, and I like to count myself among them.

I remember the Spaceworld 2000 demo (I'm pretty sure that's what it was called), where Link and Ganon were dueling. Personally (just my own little conspiracy theory), I think this is the same game we saw then. They've been working on it for a long time (I've heard it's already done, they're just polishing it up before its release), and they're just now getting ready to put it out. And I think while they were working on this, Wind Waker was also in development.

Well, I can imagine, can't I?

Maybe it is. I guess they had to clean up the graphics a little though.. but dayum, it looks neat.

Just in case anyone forgot what the Zelda before WW was...
