Now here's a question for you, Jase. In the final version, if we create an original party of our own, will we get to choose the faces and all that for them? As it is, once you pick a male and female character, there are no faces for the other two slots in your party.

Just curious.

Edit: Oho, make that no faces in the menu and no sprites on the battle screen. All I get is a shadow.

??? I assigned faces and battle sprites to all battlers... why is that happening? I'll have to double-check and see what is going on there.

I doubt that'd help much to be honest, but I appreciate the offer. I need to look at the coding where it assigns battle sprites to the self-made characters, not the images themselves.

oh I'm sorry I didn't report this earlier, but I thought it was on purpose and that facemaking was just too big for the beta...

Well when you create characters the faces will be preset (male characters and female characters will be different and each new member of your created party will have a preset male or female face, which is decided for you based on what gender you chose).

I still think you should be able to select the faces and sprites for original characters.

Ehh.... You see that would require a whole script creation module and a LOT more pictures and sprites... If I get around to it, I'll add that in, but I make no guarantees. Sorry, but if I incorporate every suggestion the game will never get done!

What if it were just picking from the sprites given to you with RPG maker? There's some good character faces in that, which is why I ask.
