Here is a list of the stuff that I left out of the beta.
1) GUILDS
So far there are a few guilds. I wanted to avoid the standard cut and dried ideas of "fighter, mages, thieves and assassins" guilds, so I decided to think outside the box. Here are a couple of examples of TerraEarth guilds:
Fight Club- briefly mentioned in the beta, this is dedicated to underground street fighting and provides a more "traditional" arena quest line.
Brewmaster's Guild- Dedicated to the collection, selling and production of fine wines, the brewmaster's guild (run by the Beer Baron) is an extremely humorous quest line.
Literary Guild- A group of enlightened citizens who are trying to bring back reading. Centered around the various books you can purchase in the game, their mysterious leader seeks an ancient manuscript known as the Moon Tribe Tome.
The Foamy Card Cult- Not really a quest line, so much as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the original attempt at this game. Once you've joined, you gain access to a hidden basement area in the Tower of Babel, where you can listen to "Foamy Sermons".
(No idea what I'm talking about? Visit http://www.friendsoffoamy.com/
2) Tower of Babel- more than just an office.
The finalized Tower of Babel will have shopping, museums, and a localized quest line.
Here you can also get jobs working for the man, to earn some extra pocket change.
3) Random dungeons.
There will be a LOT more places to go and kill. Each holding a high level chest at the bottom or back of the dungeon.
4) Hidden dungeons.
Some super secret dungeons with your standard "tougher-than-the-final-boss" enemies.
5) Journal System
Based on Raini's suggestion, each quest line is now going to have a journal dedicated to it (the main quest and guild quests that is. Quest house quests will still be in their notation format.
6) Where Am I? System
Pressing the RUN button on the world map will now call up a world map, and (if things work out for me) a description of your current location. Otherwise it will also reveal your main quest journal objective. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Is the final game pretty much decided, or are you still taking suggestions for extras? _________________

Yeah, I was wondering if you're planning on improving the sprites at some point in the future so that the locations and dungeons look more organic. Maybe a taller, more detailed sprite.
Do you also plan on adding a row system?
Do you also need battle SFX, or do you have those ready? Because if you need them, we can always ask if any one of us knows how to rip sound effects from SNES ROMs. _________________

I know how to rip SFX from NES ROMs, so I imagine it wouldn't be any more difficult. If you need any, just let me know and I'll get on it. _________________

Ripping SFX from Rudora no Hihou and Star Ocean (Including the battle whoosh) would be a good start. _________________

The upgraded sprites can't happen. Sorry.
I am considering a ROW system.
Battle SFX are always welcome.
And my rule is "it isn't over until it's over".
SUGGESTIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!!! ESPECIALLY REGARDING STORYLINES!!! SEND ME WHATEVER YOU WANT! _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Edit: Maaaaaaaaaaaaan, sound is working fine on Laptop, still no idea what is causing lack of on PC. =\ _________________ It's high time I revised this signature. |

another reason why i'm proud not to have Vista!
note tthat the first reason on the list was because the people at microsoft did in fact say it was crap themselves, i got that from a very reliable source |

I'm running Vista, and I'm not having any problems at all. It might have something to do with the computer itself. Or perhaps some off-the-wall settings? _________________

It's not Vista, but most likely a problem with the MP3 codecs or the sound drivers, because he installed the game on his laptop and everything worked.
