*slashes at the weakened Azure Phoenix using the enchanted Kris before seemingly melting back into the shadow*

*attack is parried by an independant action from the floating blade, which, after taking the enchantment, falls to the ground*

for those who are curious the spell i used before gives a temporary life to an item, with a sword it will defend against attackers or, if i will it, can attack, however i can't make multiple swords do seperate things, and there is a maximum amount i can imbue with life

"heh, thanks for that attempt, if you'd tried a spell you'd have been more successful"

*no longer immobilised, and begins to cast a spell*

"the shadows won't hide you after this"

*an energy ball appears above Azure, the ball explodes into thousands of miniscule apecs of energy that attach to those they touch and then shed light, giving away the positions of anyone invisible or hiding in shadows*

"either stand still and eventually get hit or show yourself, your choice"

*looks toward Tay*

"now, show me what you've got in store for me, i'm just dying to find out what it is"

for your information Muerte i gave the same enchantment to the remedy on my belt, if you had hit me the enchantment would've been useless

Amidst the confusion, Jason heads to the showers to recover from his fireball injury. He glances down at the nozzle and gets an idea...

He rushes out onto the field and turns on all the sinks,. faucets and hoses!!!

ENVIRONMENT CHANGE- RISING WATER

The water level in the arena is rising. The hoses are resistant to Ice and can't be stopped with Ice-based spells., but the water itself can still be frozen (just not altogether).

Contestants have 25 posts to escape the arena and enter the field or else they will take serious damage and gain a permanent weakness to thunder!

Also while contestants remain in the arena, thunder damage does 1.5 efficacy and the popcorn an cookie vendors scowl at you.

Jason runs down the hall towards the parking lot.

"I'm gonna grab my lance and key Flamez's car!" He shouts.

[Azure Phoenix]

*jumps out onto the stands escaping contact with the water he then casts thunderbolt and electrifies the water, the recoil from the raw energy causes him to fall back onto a chair, he then gets up shortly afterwards and continues up toward the top of the stands*

*As Azure comes toward him, a slight smirk forms on Tay's face. Tay raises his hand into the air and snaps his finger. The dark aura surrounding him melts into the stands, morphing its entirety to the deepest shade of black. As it does, the black shade begins rising upward, engulfing everything above and below the stands.*

"So Azure... Let's find out just how well you can see when you're surrounded by darkness. Can you make it out of the stadium in time to avoid the flood?"

*Tay and Azure both disappear into the darkness*

(Tay, the Koholint Knight, is apparently rolling Evil today... It must have been the cookies...)

[Azure Phoenix]

*runs straight into the Darkness and out the other side (my agility rating is S) and jumps off the top of the stands out into the parking lot, as he hits the ground he slams a large amount of energy into a ground, it causes a slight tremor and then causes an eruption of magma underneath the car containing Jason Tandro's lance, the car is quickly vapourised and the lance launched high into the sky*

"heh...now let's see...if you're dangerous while unarmed"

Jason's lance will not come down for the next 3 posts

*magma is blasting out of the hole in the ground and is flowing freely from it, the magma in the air is coming down all over the place, cooling and solidifying in the arena*

"so sorry tay, but you'll have to wait for another day"

[Flamez]

"Dont you touch my car jason!"

*Goes out*

"Come to think of it... wheres the o2 gone?"

*stars gasping for air*

"craaaap"

*realises moving is a good idea*

*As Azure moves towards Jason, his legs suddenly become immobilized. Looking down, he sees two black arms holding his ankles in place. Furthermore, it seems he is being pulled into his own shadow.*

"Your shadow is connected to this Dark Space. I can pull you back whenever I want, as long as the Space is still intact. Better think of something quick, I assure you that there is more in this darkness than just me..."

*At this point, the darkness is halfway to Azure's knees.*

Jason grabs the lance out of his car and puts his keys in his pockets.

"I'm never gonna get that security deposit back," he curses.

He then notices Azure sinking into shadow and laughs.

"Wow, that sucks, buddy."

He jumps over the stuck Azure and rushes at Flamez with his lance.


----JUST JOINING THE FRAY?-----

The Story So Far...

Jason and EverPhoenix entered the arena, but while waiting for other combatants decided to visit a hot dog vendor. Sadly the vendor was out of hotdogs (having served tay120n64 the last one). Jason killed the vendor, but brought him back to life out of pity for his daughter. Valerie Valens then transported the vendor and his daughter to a far away place.

Meanwhile Muerte observes the fight from a distance and Flamez enters the arena wearing a water-proof jacket. Azure enters the fray as if from a sleep and Jason initiates the first attack by attacking Flamez with his keys! (He left his lance in the car).

Flamez toasts Jason as Tay snacks on some coookies. Jason retreats into the shower too cool off and then begins to flood the arena. Battlers now must fight while fleeing the flooding stadium.

*flamez, finally in a nice area that isnt lacking in O2 opens up his handy battle-kit*

"where did I put it...."
"There it is!"

*Pulls out a lighter, and lights himself on fire again*

*notices water flooding into the arena*

"Crap-sticks!"

*notices Jason charging at him with a lance*

"Oooo... pointy*

*Flamez starts looking for a way out of the arena*






*he also throws a fireball at jason*

(Looks like I gotta revise the rules to accomodate universal rules of of "elements" or fonym colour, more appropriately. I'll explain later, as soon as I rewrite the character sheets I have been working on. Anyways...)

*Valerie flies out of the water towards Flamez, her sword ready in the LHS position.*

"annoying pest, let's shed some light around here"

*between his hands a ball of energy appears, Azure casts it above his head sending out an Intense flash of light that lasrts long enough to banish the darkness around him*

"let's stop playing with child's tricks"

*draws upon raw energy for a spell*

"let's see how far in the air i can send you"

yo flamez, you do realise that your feet are stuck in the ground since you sank before you heated it

my absorb magic spell means i wont get damaged at all by the thunderbolt, but everyone else should cook nicely.
