Maybe this should be in Spam Central, but I think this is worthy.
phonezoo.com lets you make your own ringtones and it's free (except standard texting and data rates). You create a free profile, verify your phone # and model and you can make ringtones. You can even use copyrighted content as long as you say that it is and don't share it!
It's totally awesome! _________________ Support me on Patreon!

seems a bit redundant imo
can make mono tones on the phone (although this is last millenium)
polys are just midis, also very easily obtained and hacked up
truetones are mp3s, and anyone with windows movie maker can isolate a chunk of a mp3.
this might make it easier to do, but id still rather not put in my phone number just for ringtones _________________

It doesn't work with all carriers/phone models either. My phone model? Doesn't work with the website. _________________

I never really understood people having a hard time with ringtones. Using al sorts of thirdparty crap, or buying them, etc..etc...
When I want a specific ringtone, I download the MP3 and transfer it to my phone... easy.
Depending on your model, either by bluetooth or with the cable supplied with your phone. _________________ ... "If you doubt, you question. If you question, you understand. If you understand, you know. If you know, you want to know more. And if you want to know more... you are alive." |

I used to do that, but I have Alltel/Verizon and certain models block all non-purchased ringtones. I have been ringtoneless for almost two years now, and its eating away at my creative soul.
And yes, not hearing the Final Fantasy Victory Theme when you receive a Text can do that to you. _________________
