Here is my list of games that did not recieve the acclaim they deserved and were (in my opinion) awesome.

Platform Games:

Vexx- Unbelievably great platform game for the Gamecube.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger- Yeah, somewhat kiddy, but another fun platformer for the Gamecube.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle- Yeah, all the 3D Sonic games suck, but this one is the exception. It's a great party game and single-player game, plus Chao raising is a guilty pleasure.

Sports Games:

NCAA '08- Yeah I like American Football. So what?

RPGs:

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door- Dude, I don't care what anybody says that game rocked!!!

Fighters:

Ehrgeiz- The "Final Fantasy" Fighter. I heard they're making a real FF Figher called Dissidia. What happened to that?

Dissidia is slated for an August release in the NTSC Region (North America). It's already out in Japan.

Underrated games, eh?

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GCN)
Beyond Good and Evil (GCN/PS2/Xbox)
Zelda: Four Swords Adventures (GCN)
Yoshi (NES)
Donkey Kong (1994 Game Boy)
Bomberman Hero (N64)
The World Ends With You (DS)

Those would be my picks.

Absolutely. If you happen across a copy, I'd strongly suggest picking it up. Definitely gets points for originality.

Some of my choices have already been mentioned, but I'll add Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Reviews of it tend to be in the 'mediocre' range at best, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. My only real gripe would be the multitude of short, unnecessary cutscenes throughout dungeons.

I actually did get a chance to play Legend of Legaia once. It was unique to say the least.

I'm round about Lv. 40 right now. I just finished the event with the Truth Mirror. I must say, I didn't expect to enjoy the game this much.

your nearing the end, but there's a bit to go, then you will unlock retry mode and if you complete it again you unlock gift mode. Gift mode starts you at the ancient cave and allows you to use and characters you want to make a team.

My friend Arkansas loaned me his PS2 and a bunch of games that he said I absolutely must try.

So I've added a couple of games to this list:

Klonoa 2- From what I've played so far this seems like a really solid platformer game. The storyline is a little "eh" but the whole thing drips a kinda creepy cuteness and the gameplay more than makes up for it.

Timesplitters Future Perfect- Haven't started the storyline yet. Been too busy drooling over the multiplayer. Surprised And (with no offense meant to any females here) there are some hot cyber chicks in that game. Of course, I just play as the Ninja Monkey, Dinosaur, Duckman or BEAR!!! I'm sure that this is the only game where you can play a bear with a machinegun.
It's basically like Smokey took matters into his own hands.
"Won't prevent forest fires eh? How about artillery fire!!!" Evil or Very Mad

If you play Klonoa 2, you have to play Klonoa 1, so you know what the hell is going on in the beginning of the game. Razz

...and yes, I've beaten the first and second Klonoa games more times than I can count.
