Well it's 9-11, which to be honest I've been an American Citizen all my life and I didn't know we've been calling that Patriot Day until just this year. The reason is because we already have (or had, I guess) a Patriot Day on April 20th. It was in remembrance of the Battle of Lexington (the shot heard round the world).

Anyways, my thoughts are with the people who lost family and friends in these horrific attacks.

My condolences go out to those people. There was a story, that people try to remember where they were when they found out Kennedy had been assassinated. Do you remember where you were when you heard about the attacks?

I was in school... I imagine most of you were. It was crazy- no one knew what was happening- there was alot of mis-information passed around. I'll never forget that day for as long as I live.

9 years. Time sure flies.

And yes, I didn't know it was called "Patriot Day" either. But it's a suitable middle finger to those that thought they could break you. Cool Guy

so we've been celebrating hitler's birthday was well as the formal patriot day?? Laughing

a very sad day it is today. when the towers fell... but when this happened in second grade, i thought stuff like this was common. mostly thanks to video games that claimed to be true to real life and have buildings blow up all the time, like war games. or in others where you fly a ship and fire at cities XD

i feel kinda stupid for thinking that :/ it's the reasons and peoples' lives that are important..

Second grade? Wow. I was in the eighth, not much better prepared to deal with something like that, but still man.

So you're like 16 I guess?

Trust me, life doesn't start until you get out of high school. As much as my past few years have kinda sucked they've also been unbelievably awesome.

I feel very old now. Very Happy

In this climate it's all about work ethic. If you will do the job and do it well you've got nothing to worry about. Other than that, dress to impress, be unfailingly polite and extremely patient.

It's intimidating as hell when you first get out there, but it's honestly not that big a deal once your in it.

I'd wish it was nearly the same over here. Everything is so static and arranged. It matters more what you have on your papers (CV etc.) than your actual skill. You can forget to applicate for a job when you don't have the right certifications. Even when you're obviously higher educated. Lazy buns and morons stay employed cause they're "qualified".

Someone drop me a green card and I'll come over with the next flight =)
