all i'm saying is that just because the can use damaging magic doesn't mean that they are evil.

I didn't say they're evil either, just that they don't use happy magic; because I haven't seen one black mage that did. Earlier, I said they bring death and destruction (damaging magic), and pestilence and disease are the poison/curse spells they often learn.

But when you say that they "bring" death, destruction, pestilence and disease, you make it sound as if they are death itself because they "bring" death. Now I want to see a black mage shot rainbows out of his hand as much as I want to see air-ships that can't fly (which I don't)

When I cast magic in FFXI, I'm surrounded by rainbow-y colours... and I'm a Black Mage. It's even better since my subjob is White Mage, so I'm a Black Mage that casts White Magic...

i got nothing against a prism of colors when magic is cast, i just don't think I'd like to see a black mage cast Rainbow magic.

oh and the storm is gone now.

SUPER UPDATE-ARU!!!

Thinking of making an animated version tomorrow, or starting tomorrow anyway. Just to make the eerie red movey and stuff, and the green acidy drippy. Quite happy with the way this turned out.

More Edit: First drawing I've even attempted in over a year! Huzzah!

Based on a character I really enjoyed going through in the Neverwinter Nights Expansions. He's shown with Red Dragon Armour(crafted to look different from standard) and two Rapiers which I can't really remember stats for them. Bard, Red Dragon Disciple, and Weapon Master. T'was quite fun.
