That's a tearjerker, for sure.
It's a shame she couldn't actually 'see' it, but it's nice that she got her wish. And the fact that people made sure it happened restores your faith in humanity. _________________

That's downright heart-breaking. It always sucks when kids die of anything, especially something like cancer.
I would agree with Freedan about my "faith in humanity" being restored, but I'm the kind of person who has never really lost it, per se. People are basically good at heart, and this story is evidence of it. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Someone posted a different link to the same story in the livejournal, so I happened upon it there. But damn if I wasn't going "Awww! " and "...awww " all at once while reading it. That was downright depressing and amazing all at once. I'm happy she got her last wish though. _________________

Exactly how I felt. Torn between cuteness and macabre. _________________

i was in the cinema last night (we were watching MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D) and saw the trailer for "UP"... of course i had to think about the story. at least she died after an apparently good movie. _________________
