In my continued efforts to find all members of TE a cause or ideal to rally behind (first it was what to call ourselves, and some other things I think...)
I was wondering if TE had (or should have) an official theme song.

It needs to represent the kind of people we are, the kind of atmosphere we have on the forums; a fair musical representation of our community.

Sum41's Fat Lip (which I recently used in the TerraEarth Quotes video ) has always reminded me of TerraEarth Forums for some reason.

There's also some individual themes that have been employed. I know, for example, that Raini's "theme" for her character is UNKLE's Broken.

Val writes her own music of course. Very Happy

And everyone else has mentioned a variety of other songs as well.

The TE Games have a unifying theme, but that's not really representative of the forums itself...

Any thoughts?

honest thoughts? I don't think we'll find something, taste of music is just too different. and I really don't want any nerdy blackmetal yelling as hymn for this board Mad

You talking about Fat Lip? That's most def NOT Black Metal, friend. Punk Rock. But I do concur that "black metal yelling" does not fit this board.

I think he's right... our taste in music varies so widely from one person to the next, I don't know if there's something we could all agree on.

Unless we go with "Never Gonna Give You Up", and Rickroll the internet.

...But I think we can all agree Queen's "We Are The Champions" would suit that need. Afterall, we are all champions, in some form or another. Very Happy

i think an awesome medley of the best of the soulblazer, illusion of gaia and terranigma soundtracks would do nicely. itd have to sound really heroic.

im thinking something like deathtoll's theme, (IoG music here) and maybe either the terranigma intro or dark gaia battle.

oh and some final fantasy-style fanfare wouldnt go astray.

i know suggesting artists or songs is a bad idea, the music tastes are too diverse. and as much as i hate to disapprove of rickrolling, i just dont think it fits us.

If we were to have a theme song, it has to be a piece that is related to the Soul Blazer trilogy.

I'd say that "real world music" is by default out of the question, both due copyrights and the fact that it has nothing to do with TerraEarth.

Really difficult task to get a really good theme... I suppose it might even be especially composed for us.
