Fake fan made. blah. I never liked when people just copied over other animated sequences. But I'll give them a nod for some effort.

THere is a final fantasy 7 ova, but it is just on what happened before the game. And is only 25 min long.

here's part 1:

Could you go into more detail, exactly? With the FF6 stuff are they seriously just using animations from other shows? Cause those characters look a LOT like the characters from FF6.

I'm sure your right, of course, I'm just confused. Animation was never my specialty.

The FFVI vids were completely fan-made. The only parts that were not new were the images and music from FMA.

The FFVII one was a hybrid of FFVII and Ouran High School Host Club (which, incidentally, is one of my favorite Anime! Love)

There were three FFVII Anime projects that were official. The first is a CG movie, and the latter two are 30 minute Anime shorts.

1) Advent Children - In which the remnants of Sephiroth attempt to carry on the work of Jenova 2 years after the end of FFVII.

2) Last Order - A look back at the Nibelheim incident 3 years prior to the events of FFVII.

3) On the Way to a Smile - The story of Denzel and how he came to be in Cloud and Tifa's care.

I was aware that those were official, of course, but I wasn't sure about these. for being fan-made, the FF6 stuff is great, the FF7 needs some work.

I've seen a lot of the fake anime openings for just about everything. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure + the... opening? Ending? Whatever? To Suzumiya Haruhi = The Melancholy of Jojo. People in Japan have too much time on their hands, and those videos, except for the FF7 ones essentially (the official ones), are pulled off of Nico Nico Douga (Japan's youtube, sort of. Nico Nico is actually pretty cool, I had an account there to poke around videos Very Happy) and reposted on youtube.

Nope, just Last Order and Denzel's side story. There were two Final Fantasy animes, however; one based on FF5 (Legend of the Crystals) and then Final Fantasy: Unlimited. Pretty sure those were the only ones.

I thought Unlimited was the sequel to FFV? My sources were apparently wrong.

No, that was Legend of the Crystals. Unlimited was its own story.
