Which is why Link's Awakening is my favorite Zelda. |
Nah, Links Awakening was easy bash, imo...or my gaming skills got better over time. I played ALTTP in elementary school, LA in grammar school/junior high. |

See, I first played Link's Awakening when I was seven, so maybe that made the difference. _________________

My very first Zelda game was Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, which is why it's got a soft spot in my heart. Got halfway through that game at 5 years old.
Then came the original Zelda, which I just didn't understand. A Link To The Past was around 7 or 8.
Then Zelda: OoT when I was in Middle School. LA and MM came around High School. Wind Waker was my senior year. Twilight Princess was maybe a year or two ago, and I haven't beaten it yet.
Never played Oracle of Ages, Seasons, Minish Cap or Phantom Hourglass. Or the CD-i games... but then I'm missing nothing. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

I swear, if you don't stop talking about the CD-i games like they're part of the series, I'm gonna reach through the internet and slap you
I played the first three around the same time (around 6-7) and then got Link's Awakening a year later. Every other Zelda I played on or shortly after it's US release.
EDIT: You should play the Oracles, but pass on MC and PH. Neither were that noteworthy. Plus, the Oracles were made by Capcom (and were challenging) _________________

Actually, that was the only thing that made it remotely good.
@Jason: Well, the DS is amazing, but for good games. You know...
Games that aren't titled Zelda: Craptastic Hourglass: Now With More Hand-Holding!
Refer to the new thread I am about to make on this very subject. (In General Gaming, of course) _________________

The controls had nothing to do with it. PH's only real failing was that it was easy. Short dungeons and such (most could be done in an hour). _________________
