Both are very well written, but only one isn't stupid (lolz)
I love Harry Potter (just saw the 6th film last night). The books are amazingly well thought out and full of intrigue. Granted, it does have a lot of Wizard/Witch stereotypes, but I think that just adds to the glamor of it.
Twilight however, is like Disney Princesses for teenagers. There is absolutely no substance to the story whatsoever. It's just emo Disney, plain and simple. And you know what? That's fine! If that's your thing, more power to you, but I prefer to be left out.
If I want Disney Princesses, I'll go watch Beauty and the Beast (which btw, is my favorite romantic movie ever. don't make fun ) _________________

Harry Potter wins. no contest.
i mean sure, i saw the twilight movie and enjoyed it. didnt get around to finishing the first book, even. harry potter is written for a greater population, while twilight is written for one specific audience (~15 year old girls) and goes into agonising detail about... well, nothing.
both have good plot ideas... ok scratch that. what ive heard of twilight, it gets really later on. harry potter, however, only got better. honestly, sparkling vampires, wtf
on a side note, i cant quite pick who i think is the better-looking one, emma watson or kristen stewart. 'coz thats probably what jason meant when asking which of the 2 is better. _________________

Ehem [ XDD we cool, man]
But you're right, though. A lot of girls my age are terrible when it comes to this book. It's always "OMG Edwaaaard!!" "Jacooob!!" "Glowy vampies lik totally original!!" That's one big reason I don't like that series. The crazy people.
Harry Potter wins, no question about it. Twilight did have some potential, but Meyers overlooked that and decided probing Belly's mind on things no one cares about is more important >.> She evaded details from all the battles, even.
Magic wands all teh wy, man.

both suck... but harry potter sucks more. i havent read any books and havent watched any movie. and its gonna stay that way.
i saw twilight though... i thought it'd be a good movie but, yea... maybe if i was like 13 and a girl and brainless and someone who likes things because other people like that too... yea, then twilight would really be a kikas movie _________________

Twilight in a nutshell.
However, my vote goes with neither. They're both overrated, and reading the epilogue for the last HP book just reaffirmed my thoughts on how JK Rowling's writing is. :/ I mean, seriously? Scorpious? Albus Severus? Way to be original, Rowling.
Though, if I had to pick one over the other, I'd pick HP. Twilight is just a load of bollocks and wtf pregnancies/births. _________________

Harry potter, just because a 22 year old male can still find enjoyment while watching it, twlight on the other hand is on something I would see if I was being tortured or something _________________

Twilight proved me one more time that I'm getting old, I first heard of it when I South Park made fun of it.
Knowing that it aims at 15 year old gothy girls, I've decided not to follow this trend.
I came around the Harry Potter books when book # 4 was released. Quite enjoyed them! The movies were a bit cheesy but I'll watch the remaining 2 aswell. |

We actually have two more films to watch, not including this one. They're splitting the last one in half so they could include as much detail from the book as possible. I don't see why they wanna do that since they're hiding most of the time...
Twilight was kinda horrible, but I'm gonna give New Moon a try, since the emogay vampire will hardly get any screen time I could use a laugh by then. I'm forced to go anyway. But I'll gut those kids if they make me see the third one |

I can spoil the end of the fourth book for you all for Twilight. No, really. It made me go " WHAT THE FU-- WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ ABOUT THESE BOOKS?!"
Because it was that disturbing, and it makes me wonder how teenyboppers can see that as OMGTWUWUV and all. blech. _________________
