TerraEarth Beyond is going to have a Kingdom Hearts/ Mass Effect feel to it. You travel to a variety of worlds and do a variety of quests. As TE:A draws to a close, my work of TE:B gets more fully formed. So... this is the quest I have for you.
The Totally Awesome TerraEarth: Beyond World Design Competition
You must provide the following:
1. Name of the World
2. Name of the primary races of the world.
3. World Type (Ice World, Water World, Rock World, etc.)
4. Number of Moons (if any)
5. Brief (take as much or as little time as you need) world history.
6. Civilization Level (stone age, industrial age, space age, etc).
7. Optional- any other details you wish to provide.
EVERY world will be featured in some capacity, but whichever world is the best (this is a personal taste matter) will be awarded a whopping 1,000 Gems. This competition will be running until October 19, 2009 (TE's 9th Birthday) _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Sounds pretty cool. I've written something up, but I'll fine-tune it a bit or something, seeing as the deadline is two months away. _________________

Ok, so I didn't feel like waiting, and prepared something earlier today.
Are they posted here, or do we PM them over? _________________

I don't think ideas are gonna get swiped. All the ideas that are posted here are going in TE:B. If you're worried about sabotage in some way (I still don't know how) you can PM me. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

1. Name of the World - TerraEarth Superior
2. Name of the primary races of the world. -Humans/Meta-Humans
3. World Type -Like ours, slightly futuristic.
4. Number of Moons -Two- one like ours, one made of black stone.
5. Brief -The world was born much like our own. However, during some time during the early half of the AD timeline, a large asteriod was trapped within our planet's orbit. The asteriod was larger than our own moon, and when it came into our galaxy it was radiated during it's long travel here. The radiation affected some of the planet's population, thusly, creating humans who had abilities beyond others, thus creating the first Meta-Humans.
6. Civilization Level - Just beyond space, the technology is roughly ten years beyond our own.
7. Optional- The world is an alternate reality of our own. It's the same year, and you're the same person, but everything else is different. Real-world superheroes exist, and not necessarily everyone is affected by the radiation ras from the 2nd moon. (This is essentially from my currently unfinished story- I'll get around to it!)
And BTW, I don't think anyon has to really worry about being plagerized by posting it here. Afterall, we'd all know who was stealing, now wouldn't we?
If this doesn't work, do let me know. I can do others. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. So I have a question regarding this. It has nothing to do with the real design thing of the worlds for this contest, but more of my own curiosity. Since we're going with world design and all that and it's going to sort of have a Kingdom Hearts feel to it, does that mean that it'll have that KH thing to it with costume changes from the default? Like I know in both KH games, depending on what world you go to, you get the matching world costume to blend in (Atlantica you change into a fish, Halloween Town you have the Halloween costume, etc.)
Why yes I'm doing this for myself and costume design. I'll think up a world later. _________________

TE: Prime
1. TE: Prime
2. Advanced Humans
3. Technologically Advanced World- Several Thousand Years Beyond Our Own
4. One, Like Our Own, however Colonized
5. The world grew much like our own- however, during the technological revolution, they had several major advancements, including being able to sustain life on other planets beyond the reach of our own world. They also In the story I created) were the first civilization to create inter-dimension travel between the various Terra-Verses (Otherwise known as Multi-verse). They had abolished all need for war, famine, and disease, through the use of technology. However, there are those who don't necessarily believe that a utopian society could ever actually work, and their plans to destroy this world come to a starting conclusion. Home to the characters Professor Edward Flare and the nemesis of my story, Ark Rizan.
6. Advanced intelligence of all residents of this plancet.
7. Can't really think of anything at the moment. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Not quite planets. Their alternate realities from one another. They could be ret-conned for your game, however, if that's what you want to do.
Speaking of it, TCOITE is something I really need to get off the ground again, however I've become extremely busy between the Podcast I'm doing and the MLG team for Halo 3 my friend has been building me into. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. I'm trying to avoid retconning. The whole point of the TE: Lexicon is to have a set structure to my canon which encourages others to either add to it, or create their own canon. In this case, since I'm borrowing your concept, I would like it to blend as seamlessly as possible with TCOITE, or simply acknowledge from the get-go that these two items are separate, but appear in both canon lines?
What I imagine I will do is use these alternate realities and keep them as real to TCOITE as I can, that way it is convenient for both of us in the event we do decide to link the canon's together.
What I DON'T want to do is monopolize the entirety of TerraEarth's lore and canon. My lexicon and story is just one. It could be called "TerraEarth according to Jason Tandro", but I don't want people to feel like they have to follow my canon. They are welcome too, of course. As a matter of fact everybody on the board has already contributed to my canon in varied amounts.
But I don't want to become one of those people who say "If your story isn't canon (as in a story that falls within my predetermined canonity subset) then it isn't a REAL story."
People with big heads like that aren't welcome on TerraEarth. _________________ Support me on Patreon!
