Well, as of today, the PlayStation 3 has an MSRP of $299.95 USD.
It's mainly to make the way for the new 120GB PS3 Slim, which will be available to the public September 1st, also with an MSRP of $299.95. Incidentally, the system itself does not stand vertical as well as its predecessor, and a vertical stand, for $24.95 USD, will be sold separately. Refer below.
