Kiite/Mezzo

Well, I had watched the Anime Mezzo DSA some time ago, and was looking for the prequel when I finally ran across it. Or them.

Kite and Mezzo Forte.

Apparently, the two OVA prequels contain large amounts of violence and gore as well as child pornography (read: rape scenes). They come in several versions, so naturally I'm interested in the complete versions with all the terrible content intact. So what I want to know is...

Have any of you seen these Anime? If so, what did you think of them?

I have netflix and have Mezzo series on Queue. They do not have the films, though. The scenes are really graphic (I came upon them at some point looking for this film) and they were stuck in the film, and have no place in the plot. I heard they did the same thing to Kite.

Iv seen mezzo, as sbif said the scenes have just been tacked on almost as an after thought, the rest of the episodes could be watched and you would never know or expect them to appear. Story wise its pretty good.

Kite and Mezzo Forte are actually both straight up hentai films. The unedited ones are the watered down versions that are more... 'safe' to say the least. But they're the sophisticated porno, essentially.

Seen parts of Kite, it... really didn't impress me much, despite the OHSODEEP (hur hur no pun intended there) story it had going with the assassin stuff.

think about mezzo is that the hentai in both parts has no point story wise at all and is just thrown in, hell in the first part its a dream

I just watched MezzoForte, after finishing the series. I liked the series- the version of Forte was the watered down version, and both are brutal. I liked the series for the most part, but wish it'd been 26 episodes as opposed to a meager 13.

Finally got to see Kite and Mezzo Forte.

Yeah, the sex scenes were tacked on. There was one scene in Kite that seemed to have a purpose, but that was about it. As for the movie itself, Kite was okay, but the only part I really liked was the ending. The ending was excellent, but I feel that the rest of the OVA should have reflected that ending.

As for Mezzo Forte, it was just as good, if not better, than the series. I loved the action scenes (I just wish there were more!) But the sex scenes in MF were just plain tacky and ridiculous. They felt so out of place in a movie that clearly wasn't a porn.

I guess it just goes to prove that the creator is a pervert. Plain and simple.

(on a side note, I will probably be purchasing Mezzo Forte, as it was hilarious )
