The deed is done. For the past week I've been fighting with that game, but I finally beat it... That game is fun enough, and the level progression is seamless (I played the All-Stars version). But towards the end it just gets really hard and it's just not a good Mario game. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

You do mean our Mario 2, right?
(you mentioned All Stars, so I'm just checkin)
At any rate, yeah, that game is a bitch. However, I did get over 12,000,000 points on the Advance version. I played that game A LOT. I even took the time to beat the same number of levels with each player so at the end when it shows you how many times you used each character, it's always equal.
Toad is easily my favorite. I got really good at just dashing through each stage like it was nothing.
The Advance remake was a major upgrade to both the NES and SNES versions. _________________

I love this game. I've beaten it twice. ^_^ _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

Always a great game. I beat it a few times growing up on the NES, and one time about a year and a half ago. Haven't ever touched it since.
I always liked playing as Luigi, no real reason behind it. I just always seem to do better with him. _________________ Touch it and Die

I was afraid of this game when I was a kid. when I played it in higher age, I realized the creators were propably on drugs. _________________

@psychokind: Especially those Phantos... those are creepy mother-fuckers!
I was originally on a quest to complete the game using only Mario (which without the special powers is kinda hard) but for the last world I HAD to use Peach. There was no other way. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Luigi is the most difficult to beat the game with. That erratic movement of his makes me die a lot. _________________

Yeah. It's great that he can jump higher, but when you're trying to land on those one-block long platform and he skids around on it like a ballerina, it's not good! _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Luigi was actually my usual for pretty much the whole game. The only real exception was 3-1, which included that shitload of coins at the bottom of the level (Toad was called in for that one). Luigi also made it easy to cheap out on Wart, jump behind him with the veggie, and feed it to him from the back with no danger of being hit (though Peach could do that too, with her hovering).
I loved that game as a kid. I should probably play through again.
Best boss? Clawgrip. Followed by Tryclyde. _________________

Noo! I hated TryClyde. The first form was easy, but the second form kicked my ass eight ways from sunday.
Frankly I liked Mowser, as he was the only other boss to be repeated, and it was so fun owning him with his own bombs. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

I wouldn't mind seeing Wart and his minions in some future Mario game.
He's referenced in Super Paper Mario and some other misc. games, IIRC.
EDIT: But yeah. the game is good. I always played as Luigi. |

Wart was also in Zelda: Link's Awakening.
Oh, and Mouser was lame.
Tryclyde FTW. _________________
