Okey dokey folkies, random poll time for you all -

Who is your favourite female character in the Soulblazer trilogy, and why?

Because if I included the male characters, chances are it would come down to a battle royal between Blazer, Will, and Ark.

I realise the nature of the poll is a bit skewed by their being more major female characters (and males for that matter) in Terranigma than in IoT, and more there than in Soulblazer; but I can't help that, so tough. :p

I vote for Meilin, 'cos she's funny, and one of the few people who can really get on Ark's nerves, and 'cos she can kick butt when she needs to with her power of illusion, but is still girly. And for imprisoning Ark in Dragoon Castle. (He got beat by a little girl! )

Though the characters in Soul Blazer were never very deep, I didn't mind the generic "only daughter" feel. It made her very likable, though often transparent.

However, she was a good deal more enjoyable of a heroine than Kara. I never really took to her despite my immense love of IoG.

And, of course, I still haven't played Terranigma.

I went w/ Meilin, too... Sad that I couldn't vote for an IoG char, but the Terranigma chars do have more to them. Used to like Lilly a lot, but only due to her dandelion-ness. Personality does grate at times. For Terranigma, I did very nearly vote for Elle from Crysta, because I adored that soothing aesthetic small town feel of that point of the game, and like the hair color. But, I also found Meilin funny and tragic, and enjoyed her illusion ability, and remembered that during the brief period she's with Ark, I loved that feeling of, "Yes, I have a traveling companion like in IoG! I'm not alone anymore!" Than that jerk Ark abandoned the little girl in her sleep... *grumble, grumble*
