I like the retro painted look of the Megaman 2 box art but Megaman 1 box art...

Maybe at that time, marvel was famous so they gave megaman an x-men look. Also he was called megaman, not megaboy. in other words, he's supposed to be a man. Fortunately, capcom made him a boy.
Am i GLAD that the current megaman is not like the ones in the box art.
There's something wierd with both of the boxart pix 
The lower right arm of the megaman 1 art looks crooked. Also, look at Dr. Light in the megaman 2 art. He appears to be commanding clash man to attack megaman.

what an effect. As a result, megaman looks like a moron too. Since he looks like a human being, why does he become circles when he dies? capcom should have used gore instead.

The black adn white is from that book raini already stated, some of the colored stuff is form the official book.
But some art is from the German Nintendo Power comic book they released when the game hit Germany.
