What's your favorite Zelda of all time? Mine is A Link to the Past.

I forgot to put in Spirit Tracks. Just say "I vote for Spirit Tracks" or something like that if that one's your favorite.

Its actually hard to pick. Zelda II was my very first and so I have a soft spot for it. I also think Twilight Princess is the "best" Zelda game overall and I love the exploration aspects of Wind Waker (screw you people who said the sailing was monotonous! Biting )

But I think Ocarina of Time is my overall favorite. Even Link to The Past, considered by many to be the best Zelda game, didn't capture my attention as much as Ocarina of Time did. I could play this game for hours on end.

A Link to the Past, but Ocarina of Time comes close. I also loved Majoras Mask alot!
Twilight Princess would've been my absolute favourite if I had played it at the age of 10.

It's a toss-up between LttP and OoT. Both are timeless masterpieces. I honestly couldn't choose which one is better.

As much as I loved TP, it just didn't quite measure up to those two, so it comes in just behind. That's not to say it's anywhere near as bad as some people make it out to be, just that it didn't fully deliver on the hype it got.

Incidentally, that's Nintendo's main reason for staying so quiet on the next Wii Zelda. TP had about 2 years of hype, and people wound up expecting the world, and some came away disappointed. The next Zelda (which, I believe, has a release date of some time in 2010) hasn't gotten that much exposure, so people aren't waiting for so long, building up their own hype wagon.

I still don't see why people were disappointed with Twilight Princess. That game was nearly perfect. (I mean what were people expecting exactly?)

Seriously. If TP was the last game I ever played, I'd die happy.

People were probably expecting it to be a revolution for the series like OoT was. Instead, it turned out to be an evolution.

Still a great game, but not necessarily a breakthrough.

they could have made it a breakthrough if they waited for the Wii and made it a full-Wii-game. twilight princess should have been the zelda which finally makes you stand in your room and fight imaginary enemies with your wii control. shield in your right, sword in your left, TEK TAK HAAAA!

I still don't know how I feel about that. If I'm gonna play a Zelda, I wanna do it the way I always have...

Naked. I mean... with a regular controller.

you mean in 2D like zelda 1? no you don't, zelda needs constant evolution or it will die like any other game. why are there suddenly 10 dragonball games per year? because they managed to make full use of the awesome wii-control!
