........
So... this is a new one.
http://kotaku.com/5409877/the-one-about-the-guy-who-married-a-video-game
In a nutshell, some guy in Guam married his virtual girlfriend in a dating sim. For real, in a church.
I can't see this being legally binding... well, pretty much anywhere else, but I suppose it counts in Guam.
I'm scared to think what their kids will look like.
More importantly, what happens if the battery dies on his DS and he hasn't saved his progress? _________________

Well think about it from his point of view:
1. This woman will never complain about all the other men she could have married.
2. This woman will do anything that he want (within her programming capabilities).
3. This woman can't get knocked up.
4. This woman can't give him an STD (though maybe a computer virus).
Sounds like a dream woman to me. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

And she's probably hotter than reality by far.
Actually, that's funny. This isn't the first I've heard of this, either. It'd be weirder if he tried to marry an NPC. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Ah! ode to the objectum-sexuals!
Ah, america. The land where you can marry anyone or anything, unless they are the same sex as you! _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

Actually, you can't blame America for this one. This happened in Guam.
What I want to know is: how did this not happen in Japan first? _________________

Attraction to non-living or living things may be natural for humans. But marriage or beyond that is out of question.
I guess Q is right about us. Humans are totally barbarians. _________________

My friend Kristen said the best thing ever:
"You should live your life like a dog. If you can't eat it or hump it, p/ss on it and walk away."
That's a pretty good summation for the human race right now.
[Edit: And that's a good question. If you could marry an object, what would it be?] _________________ Support me on Patreon!

^My copy of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. The original, not the DX version. I have said before that if that game manifested itself into a woman I would marry her in a heartbeat, lol. _________________
