While finding the appropriate youtube for my "Currently Listening To...", I found this in my subscriptions:
Dark Gaia in Mario Paint.
The guy who did this has made a bunch of stuff in mario paint composer, and this is probably the best yet. For comparison, the original from the soundtrack.
Thought I'd share.

O. MY. DUCK. Srsly.
This guy has got MAD skillz! And I'm totally amazed by how similar it sounds to the original, actually - did the Terranigma composers write the music in Mario Paint?
Dark Gaia's theme is damn kickass (though I still prefer the Oworld and Uworld themes), but being able to recreate it on something like Mario Paints virtual keyboard is just.....wow.

I saw a few of these a while ago.
But omg, this is awesome. At first I thought it was just a really talented person making these, then I found out it was made with a program.

i think it just takes a midi and puts it in mariopaint.

Nah, with the online composer they make them, they just have more options than they did on the original game.
