I'm pretty sure I remember Jason saying some time ago (to me, via PM) that Intimidate doesn't work on bosses (I was asking a question about using spells and abilities at the time).
And yes, I think I'll let Chicken decide first; we'll base our actions on that. _________________

EverPhoenix:
You have as much time to discuss during battle as you need. You can share items. In fact. Freedan gave you each a Guard Solution beforehand.
Freedan: That is correct. Intimidate (or equivalents) do not work on Bosses. Especially a big-ass Version Ender like Castaroth.
Chicken: If you've played Illusion of Gaia (or Illusion of Time) you will remember Castaroth as attacking with just hands and head. (See the site proper for a picture). Statistically there is a 5% chance (based on a 1d100 roll) of you hitting his feet and if you do, it will cause enormous damage, but you have a better chance (1d6) of simply landing a critical hit and dealing 1.5x damage.
[Edit: This is what you are facing:

I'll cast Heal on Chicken. Should get him most of the way back to health. _________________

Okay I'm confused. Freedan is going to heal chicken, but could EverPhoenix and Chicken re-select their combat options. I got confused by the strategizing.
And I'm supposed to remain neutral, but let me offer this bit of advice:
Chicken. Freedan is going to Cure you. Don't waste effort on Herbs, and take advantage of the DESPERATION MOVE while you have it.
Of course it's all your call. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

Can I re-select my option as well?
I was using a heal spell as supplemental healing, to complement the herbs Chicken was using on himself (since they wouldn't have healed too much).
But with Chicken being 'encouraged' to take advantage of his situation, it would be better for me to use a hi-potion for him, since I'm the only one healing now. _________________

Okey doke, I'll use a hi-potion on Chicken.
Piss off with the herbs, Chicken. _________________
