Freedan leapt up and slashed Castaroth's throat gouging a deep cut in his neck. Castaroth shrieked in pain as EverPhoenix's magic missile and Chicken's arrow hit the wound he had just made.

Suddenly out of nowhere a bolt of light struck down through Castaroth binding him in a collar made out of an eerie blue light.

A voice rang out through the hall.

"This is your chance! Finish him off!"

[chicken]

uh... well then, lets finish him

Divine intervention?

Well, at least they're divinely intervening for our side.

One more Coup de Grace.

seems fair enough, we deserve to win.

i put on my robe and wizards hat, and cast a SUPER MAGIC MISSILE! (normal magic missile, but its better coz i have a robe and wizards hat. it totally makes sense)

More like the Divine Author is eager to start Version 2 already!

But no, once you had reduced his HP by 50% that little intervention was scheduled to happen. There is a good reason for that. You'll see.

Oh, and because Freedan landed a critical hit on the throat all damage now does 1.5X automatically, so combining EverPhoenix's magic missile and ya'lls attacks (Chicken even landed a critical hit so he does double damage) that makes Castaroth one dead sombitch.

Castaroth falls down into the chasm as the light fades from around his neck. Suddenly the mountain begins to quake. Freedan tries to get KaleFlame to wake up but its no use.

Suddenly the beam of light shines down again and a man wearing a long flowing white robe descends from it.

"How fortunate. You have removed the last obstacle," the man says smiling. His smile fades and the white robe fades to a crimson red, as though it is being soaked in blood. "I am Arashi. The architect of the new world. And now..."

Arashi raises his hands over the pit.

"It is time for you all to take your rightful place beside me."
