I've been replaying this one lately. Yeah the story is a little campy, and some of the voice acting is unbearable, but this is a great gameplay game and the music is incredible.

What do you all think?

So-so gameplay.

After playing KH II and 358/2 Days, I can't play the first one anymore. It still has my favorite plot out of all of them, though.

its definitely my favourite. i love aladdin and winnie the pooh haha. i hate the god damned tarzan world but that place just annoys me.

@tay: Yeah, until you get all the Shared Abilities, I'll admit the combat isn't as enjoyable or fast paced as KH2 (where reaction commands, amongst other things turn every battle into a joy).

But (as crazy as this sounds) I actually prefer KH1's gummi worlds to KH2. I know KH2 were more fancy looking and the final level is badass on a stick, but I like the retro feel of KH1, plus how the background changes the further into Interspace you go.

@Dark Gaia: Are you kidding? I love Deep Jungle. Granted the running back and forth is a little annoying, but it's probably the most detailed world short of Hollow Bastion. I love the multiple levels, the variety of paths. It's awesome!

My two least favorite worlds are Wonderland (because as cool as the bizzarre room is, I think it has the most tedious quest), and Atlantica (just because everytime I play it "Under the Sea" gets stuck in my head. Although Ursula is a cool boss).

[edit: My favorite? That's a tough call, but probably either Halloween Town or Hollow Bastion. Love the Monstro battle theme though just because it's so obnoxious.]

Come on, you have to admit that Transform Gummi was badass. Although I think I do like the Mini-ships in KH2 more...

KHII was very linear in my opinion compare to the first one. i mean the new stuff is cool and all, but the lack of sidequests, too easy, and lacking depth anywhere. plus the voice acting kinda fell over in the second one. there's a lot more to do in the first one, great music, stronger desire to play it over n stuff...

i could go on, but this isn't the debate board but KH completly changed my views on disney, cause before i used to hate it with a passion, then KH made it all better.
