It's obviously a Simpsons reference. What a newbie.

Yeah, it is a Simpsons reference, but mostly it was just me being silly. But also I is a big Simpsons fan from way back, too. _________________

Actually looking at it now, I think it was a typo on the numeral. I think he meant to say "I + I = II = 2, the installment in this shitty series."
Not a math error, just a typo. Which would make sense, as IoG is 2 out of 3. _________________ Support me on Patreon!

I can still mock him for his numeral fail, though, typo or not. _________________

Yeah yeah, everybody has mathsFAIL every now and then.
My moment of insanity came when I once stated that 3 times 9 is 29! My dad recently commented that it's not, it's apparently actually 23, lolz; at least I was closer.
This one's for Math_Wizardo, wherever he may be lurking now....

27, actually. For as bad as I am at advanced math, I'm still really good at basic math. I'm glad that ability hasn't left me just yet! _________________

Heheh. Yeah, my dad loves to bring that one up (actually, he loves to bring any such embarassing incident about anybody up at every opportunity, a small trait of his that everyone he knows *hates*), especially as I have a Bachelors in Pure Maths.

Daaaaamn. Yeah, anything above addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division? I'm terrible at. Algebra should have never been created. _________________

You'd probably get on great with my dad, he hates and can't understand algebra too. Even if I solve a puzzle in the newspaper using simple algebra and he asks me to explain how I did it, I start talking and can just see his eyes glaze over ("Oh, it uses algebra - not interested")
Which is funny 'cos most of the time when he tells me stuff, my eyes glaze over in the exact same way; he either never notices how bored I am with whatever he's telling me, or he just plain doesn't care. _________________

Hahaha I don't get it. I was told by friends who were trying to show me what I was doing wrong that I'm too rational with the logic behind everything.
This is me, when it comes to things:
Also this, because at the end of the last algebra class I had, we had to do something similar and it made me want to shoot myself:

Basic Calc, first year uni? O_O I started getting Calc in my GCSEs (for those non-UK, 15/16 years old). By the start of university, we were going into multi-variable calculus and all manner of other freaky shit.
Here's a list of some of my 3rd year modules, this should scare pretty much anyone (inc. me):
Special Relativity and Electromagnetism (1 subject)
Spacetime Geometry and General Relativity (1 subject again)
Intro Quantum Theory
Quantum Mechanics II
Srsly, why did I do this shit to myself? O_O (needless to say, I bombed my third year. )
Raini, I loved your jokes on those maths problems. _________________
