Known Lunawi Language Rules: Prefixes and Suffixes
The language is a simple language in how words are created. A negative word, or rather, a word that is an opposite of another will always have the prefix "Na-"; examples of this are Life and Death (Qihgy and Naqihgy), Happy and Angry (Aviish and Naaviish), and Light and Dark (Gilhja and Nagilhja). There are bound to be exceptions to this rule, and this will be edited accordingly when those exceptions become known.
Words such as "happiness" have their own suffix they share: "-dai". Any suffix that is "-ness" gets this suffix in Lunawi. "Aviishdai" is the Lunawi word for "Happiness", darkness is "Nagilhjadai", and so on. Again, exceptions may be known later, and this will be edited accordingly.
Lastly, the suffix "-less" gets its own rule. So far, only one word in the known words list has this suffix, but it doesn't mean it can't be used for other words. The known word is "Timeless" - "Rewlvinkh". The suffix for "-less" is "-inkh", so adding it to the words for Power and Hope would change those words into "Powerless" and "Hopeless". In Lunawi, these words would be: Ylupvinkh and Behmiinkh. Once again, exceptions may be known later, and it will be updated when they become known. _________________
