This oddly brought me to a video about the group Anonymous, who is battling the opressive power known as Scientology. They bother them by wearing V for Vendeta masks and, in one video, staring down Scientologists.

Its just a small part of anon they have multiple branches that support different causes. Most of it are just unorganized "lolz" seekers living in /b. They can actually run rampage on parts of the web when the entire board is behind one cause (at the start of chanology).

There was a fox news item about em that they were the internet terrorists and such ... i lolled right there.

Nah, they're actually doing pretty well against Scientology and exposing them for what they are and what they do. Even Something Awful had a pretty large thread on it on their forums about Anon vs. Scientology. They're only doing peaceful protests, which is a good thing.

Funny thing is, the whole OMG THREATENED TO BOMB A SPORTS STADIUM, the guy 1: wasn't anonymous, and 2: anonymous actually got his ass arrested by finding out who he was and reporting it to the authorities.
