im omw to the elite four now. lvl 48 shelgon, 51 machamp, 49 ninjask. gonna gain a few more lvls on victory road or wateva it is then pwn the elite four. <3 machamp OHKO all pokemon after swords danced a couple times and dynamic punch lol

with a team like that, im not surprised. baton passing ninjask makes beating anything in the game way too easy.

hah yeah. havent needed to baton pass up til the elite four anyway. not the most challenging games. all the puzzles r a bit easy =( cant wait to vs Red =D that was epic back in the day. im mostly lookin forward to online stuff

a tourney might be a bit unfair if we use just party pokemon, as dark_gaia will flatten us all.

if we do do one, we should prepare a custom party Razz

im not online with my ds much as my router isnt compatible zzz but the one at my parents house is. sometime in the near future ill arrange to get online for a decent period of time, n hopefully fit some battles/trades in with u guys

Well EV training aint that bad and is actually quite fast when you get the hang of it. Sart pumping vitamins and then you'd only have to battle 20-30 pokes to be fully EV trained with the proper items. I personally dont bother with IV's and only breed few for passing moves.

So EV trained tourney is possible when we dont bother with IV's (that takes hours upon hours of breeding)

Oh and srsly when are tehy gonna remove HMs they are damn anoying cept for surf.

i tried to do some IV breeding once, but it was really annoying. i ended up getting a bronzor with half his IVs over 25, and then he had the wrong ability. Duh!

so... yeah. i think even nature training might be going a bit far, but thats a lot easier to do. what with everstones and synchronise available.

gameplay update:

Brock is a F**KING HACKER! honestly, first round against him, his omastar survived a giga drain on like 1hp, used ancientpower. gets a crit, KOs my jumpluff. got a stat raise. used a full restore. uses ancientpower again, got another stat raise, KOd another pokemon. uses ancientpower... and gets another stat raise. (keeping in mind stat raise is a 10% chance, and a crit with ancientpower is 6.25% )

aside from that, im how with 15 badges and fighting the last gym.

and a crit in there too.

thing is, i have 16 badges now and almost beat the new and improved elite 4 on my first try, with a lvl52 or so party. slowking+nasty plot ftw

i just versed red lol. he raped me hahahah i havent even beat the elite four the 2nd time yet. his lvl 88 pikachu one hit my ninjask then his 84 charizard finished off my others. ouch! but yeah got lvl 83 ninjask, 67 machamp and 65 salamence

Still haven't entered the Lake of Rage yet... Razz

I've been leveling my Girafarig, and I'm going to work on my Vulpix today. (getting rid of Quilava) Mostly been goofing off in the game. Spent some time in the Safari Zone and Pokeathalon, and caught all variations of Unown.

Once my Vulpix is at Lv 33, I'll get back on track.

By the by, what would you guys suggest as my Vulpix's second attack?

Iron Tail or Extrasensory?

My Scizor will know Iron Head and my Girafarig will have either Psybeam or Psychic, so I can't decide which would be more beneficial. Extrasensory has a chance of flinching, but then I'd have to tough it out to Lv 44 before I could evolve it into Ninetails... So I can't decide. Razz

Unevolved pokemon level fast so getting 44 isnt that bad.

I am on my way to the second gym now. Packing a Mareep, Quilava and a Togepi.

Extrasensory 80 100% 30 10% chance to flinch. Phsycic, Special

Iron Tail 100 75% 15 30% chance lower targets defence.
Steel, Physical

Well you might want to consider what move gives you better type coverage. also take into consideration which is ninetails higher stat, attack or special attack. personally id take iron tail cos steel is awesome and can get rid of any annoying hard to deal with rock pokemon
