In the underwater level (after the mermaids), there's this head boss on a ship... ya know, the one with the skeletony and the ugly and the hard?
Couldn't beat it. Any tips? |

Sounds like the ghost ship to me. If so, you'll want to use the shield bracelet while you're hacking his hands, and the power bracelet when his head is open to attacks. Other than that, it's just a matter of dodging. _________________

Alright, will try the bracelets thing. Although the dodging is a bit hard with a keyboard and an... uhm... emulator... *bolts* |

Nothing wrong with emulators. I play all my SNES games these days on emulators.
.....
Uh, I mean... ROMs are illegal. Don't use ROMs.

I do not encourage the use of emulators and roms as they are illegal, if you do not have the original they should be deleted within 24 hours of the original download
now to get a little serious
emulators and roms are the way to go!!!
it's been too long for me since playing SB that i've sorta forgotten which boss that is and how to beat it
but good luck to you regardless _________________ It's high time I revised this signature. |

So, how far have you actually gotten in all 3 of the games, MaLink? Anyways, I do remember that being one of the more annoying bosses in Soul Blazer, but it's been so long... Bah... If you stay stuck there a while, I'll go through again and check it out... _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

Well, I had to restart my SB game because of some issues with my sister about having illegal versions of the game... ... so the skeleton head on the ghost ship thing is the farthest I've gotten in SB. Right now I'm at the first level (because I just got addicted to Seiken Densetsu 3 XD) and haven't moved past that yet.
In Illusion of Gaia, I remember getting to a desert temple place, but something about the rom made it so I couldn't use an essential move right, so I couldn't get past that. I'm getting a PC controller tomorrow, so that will be remedied soon enough.
In Terranigma, I was to the Haunted Castle place thing after Norfest Forest before it had to go the way of the Soul Blazer and be deleted. Now I'm almost back to that point. Just need to backtrack and get the silly dog whistle. _________________

I don't have problems with emulators or roms. If the companies aren't making money off them anymore, why not give them away free?
As for games, there are only a couple I have finished in my entire life. I usually get stuck and lose interest. _________________

Who says they don't still make money off them? Collectors, and all. _________________

Exactly. They still get royalties for the game, even if it isn't selling anymore. _________________

Freedan means that when collectors buy the game, from eBay or any other store/auction, the company who made the game gets royalties on their game. _________________
