Yeah Psychokind....just be glad that Google doesn't have the capabilities (YET) to implement a live feed on Google Streetview. That would really cause a massive shitstorm, wouldn't it?

Ok, let me reiterate: it'll be a bigger shithole than it is now. I mean, it was bad enough before, but now it's just going to hell in a handbasket. The rocket to launch the handbasket is currently under construction.

Maybe it's time we all performed a coup d'etat. Obviously those we've elected failed to do what they promised. We've been brainwashed as a society into thinking that we have only two choices- Repubs or Demos. There is actually no free choice in the matter- those two parties have the money and resources to win every election. Maybe we ought to resurrect the Whig party and return to simplier times.

On a side note: I've never voted, simply because, in the two elections I've been able to legally vote in, there was never a candidate I actually believed could be a good choice for our president, whether it be Bush, Kerry, Obama or McCain.

I consider myself Republican, because I agree with most of what the Republicans say, although I think they're getting too extreme for anybody's good. Same thing with the Dems.

But ironically I'm actually registered as a Democrat, because I wanted to vote in the democratic primary to keep the Hildebeast out of the running.

At the moment, politically we are fucked (both America + Aust).

lets go back a few elections (America) - We had a moron, and a guy with a few purple hearts

Now for Aust - We had an out of touch old guy, and a hip nerd

Last election (America) - You had someone who was liable to die in office from old age or 'change'

Coming election (Aust) - Not-so hip censorship happy nerd vs Crazy christian in speedos.

We are doomed if we do, Doomed if we dont. There is no one worth voting for anymore.

Frankly people think we can make voting more interesting and people will do it. No, forget that, get us some decent candidates!

My party hasn't had a good idea since Ronald Reagan. (though Bush Sr. did get the hostages home when Jimmy Carter couldn't.)

Well one year I heard they had 100,000 votes for Yoda of the Jedi party. Like you said, I want a real candidate.

...there's more to it than just a Republican or a Democrat to vote for, you know. Hence why I voted for neither and went for someone in my own party so I could vote for someone I knew would get the job done. It's not about voting for the lesser of two evils, it's about voting for someone you know will get the job done - even if they don't win (my candidate obviously didn't; I also would not have minded Ron Paul for president. Say/insinuate anything about how I'm stupid/insane/wtfever on the matter and I will temporarily suspend your account, I don't want to hear it). My candidate only got 0.15% of the vote, but doesn't matter much. I didn't waste my vote either, unlike I've been told, but instead gave it to the person I agreed with more.

Of course, with all of the Tea Party things going on, a lot of people are now in the mindset of the Independents who are heading the things. It's kind of cool.
