Being single sucks

I feel the need for a rant, figured you guys can be my unwilling listeners

Why the hell is it so hard to find someone? I don't mean anyone but someone worth being with; my last few relationships have all been more out of mutual want of not being alone then actually really liking the other person that or one of us wasn't really in it at all.

Out of the all relationships Iv been in only in one have I really felt for the other person (sadly some major family issues on her side ended this one ). I hate being the only one of my friends who is single, the only single guy at work (who dosent want to be), everywhere I look I see my mates having a great time with there other half.

As you may of guessed today was the lovely climax of another my 'shorter' relationships, this time due to me just liking her in that way. Every girl I could see myself with that I know already has a significant other, or are just waaaaaay out of my league. My entire relationship experience sucks, I never had one that has lasted more then 2months; either with her or me breaking it off.

I'm one of those weird ones that likes being single, I suppose. Been single for two years (or almost two years) and I really like it. Then again I had a batshit ex and I really like the freedom of going "Hell YEAH that guy is so bangin'" without getting batshit speeches about how I'M GOING TO KILLLLLLL MYSELF EVEN THOUGH WE'RE NOT TOGETHER BAWWWWW WAAAAHMBULANCE and so on (yes, that's based off of a few real conversations) so... I guess I'm on the other side of the spectrum. At least you can look without guilt of "oh, my girl is here giving me the evil eye about kind of staring at this girl in the short skirt..."

I've been single for quite some time now. And by quite some time, I mean 23 years. <<;

I don't know much about the finer sex. But I personally don't mind being single. I can do what I want when I want to do it, I have more money for myself (No offense raini and any other ladies here- some women are just money grubbing).

I've had my chance to be with girls, but in both cases, the girl went after me because she was trying in some vain way to make my brother jealous.

1. being single doesn't suck if you're under 25
2. if you want a good gf, you won't get one
3. you need long time and hard work for a good gf. look for good women while you sleep with bad ones, that way you're much more relaxed and not under pressure.

oh, and not to forget: 50% is luck

My only relationship was with a Finnish girl in my age, it didn't end very well.

I honestly don't mind being single. "Girlfriend" and "boyfriend" are just titles.

being single might suck for a few people, but in all honesty a relationship isnt all what its cracked up to be.

Am in a relation now for over 4 years and everything is starting to piss me off. 5/10 times when we talk over the phone or whatever i'd rather have her shut up. oh well at least the sex is still good.

hhahahh @ phsycos crazy analysation! flamez ur in aus right? hm yeah i know wat u mean but. i had tons of small relations n flings with alot of girls but the last 2 years ive been with one girl and we live 2gether and it is nice, i finally wanted that partnership. i think that the type of girls u will meet depends on where u live. also being very confident helps. but yeah u might find somone right or u might not. ive no idea if theres a right person for everyone but maybe u need to try new things or go new places? girls with different personalities tend to do very different things.

ugh. every time i see my friend make out with her bf, i feel disgusted. there's too much of that on tv, we dont need any of that live-action >_>

be happy as a single. there's so much less to worry about. i've never had a bf before, and it's staying that way.

...unless something drastic changes my mind... which most likley wont happen

I'm another of the weird ones then, 'cos I'm 27 and I'm single and happy with it. And I've been single now for *counting* 1.....2......um.....

My sister's the same way too. In fact, the only thing that has her feeling depressed at the moment isn't being single, but being jobless (long story short, she quit/walked out 'cos her boss told her she was rubbish and that's why he got someone else in to take most of the strain off her. Ouch. On the ironic side, the new woman who replaced her is hopeless at the job - that my sister actually did really well, the boss was just too dumb to notice).

Very occasionally, I do feel like I'm missing out on some stuff, but I'm not desperate to find someone just for the sake of finding someone. If it's meant to be, well.....I don't believe in destiny, so nyeah.
