http://www.guildwars.com

Its more a competitive focussed game and the best part is, no p2p.

U buy it in stores and juz play. Wink

So no mre monthly fee's, instead they are using the system of paying per expansion. So this means u dont have to pay any more then the 1x in store but to get the stuff from expansions u do. So if they suck u can descide. And it will rush them probably into making more and more parts of the world/classes/items etc.

This is on my list to buy, luckily its released tommorrow Biting

So this means the few spare minutes a day i got are gona go into this. Rolling Eyes

yeah, I've heard a HUGE hype about this game, they're saying it'll overthrow any MMORPG out there, because of it's P2P free
any many other features that I didn't bother to read

Bah, I'm sure the FFXI enthusiasts won't leave FFXI. Although they suffered a blow when WoW came out... but those people bounce from one MMORPG to another.

well its true Very Happy

i have been hooked for the past few days :p

between working hours i play GW.

I got pretty far. The limits so far is that teh max lvl is 20.

About the money they make. U buy it in stores register an account with the key. And the way they make money is with the expension they release every 6months or so. BUT u dont have to buy em, u juz have to buy em to get to the new stuff, items, places etc

But other then that its not at all pay-to-play Wink

If you ever happen to see a guild dancing/playing air instruments in perfect sync, it's probably my GameStop buddy Razz

I was kinda wondering how they would do to eliminate fees. However, using the P2P system is a huge security risk. I wonder if they could solve it. If not, potentially everyplayer can hack the game.

They use the CD key system.

You need a cd key to play, and u cant play with 2 keys at the same time Tongue out

so even if u get a key of the net, u prolly end up sharing it with like a couple of 100 ppl..and no one will end up playing..juzlike Counter-Strike

in my opinion, the CD-key system is a rather effective system for online games. Less for online/offline games. And totally ineffective for offline games.
