There was a clatter of footsteps. A familiar looking man with spiked green hair came running out of the yellow path, only stopping when he reached the central garden.

Freedan knew this man.

"Chimera?!" Freedan shouted, raising his weapon. "What are you doing here?"

Chimera laughed. "So your friends in South Cape were right. You nutjobs were looking for the Sky Garden."

Jason raised his lance. "Is this jackass friend or foe?"

"Foe, but don't take him lightly, he's got some tricks up his sleeves," Freedan explained.

"I've got more than that," Chimera cackled, producing one of the four Crystal Orbs from his vest pocket.

"But how?" KaleFlame demanded.

"I've known about this place since I was a kid. I teleported here as soon as I found out you'd be showing up," Chimera explained.

"Give us the crystal orb!" Rainichan shouted.

Chimera grinned. "You'll have to catch me first."

Chimera dashed around Jason, who swung his lance wildly at him, missing by a hair. Chimera threw a series of daggers behind him. Jason deflected all but one which cut his shoulder. KaleFlame sliced straight through Chimera... or at least where he had been. A second after his slash, Chimera landed on the other side of KaleFlame and sent a backwards kick at him, knocking him down.

"He's good," Jason cursed.

Rainichan smashed at him with her hammer, but he rolled ahead, just dodging her. Rainichan raised her hammer in defense, but he shook his head.

"I never hit a lady," Chimera chuckled.

Chimera threw a dagger at Freedan, who cut it down, but while he did this, Chimera bolted around him and through the Red Path.

"Damn it!" Freedan shouted.

"We're wasting time!" KaleFlame shouted. "Jason and I will take Green and Blue, you two chase down Chimera."

"The hell with that, I wanna get that bastard," Jason cursed.

KaleFlame shot Jason a warning look. "Leave it to them. We need to hurry up and grab the other two."

Jason sighed. "Fine," Jason started down the Green Path. "Happy trails!" He shouted running down the path.

KaleFlame followed suit with the Blue Path.

"Well I guess that simplifies things," Rainichan sighs.
