An idea I got from http://www.genesisawards.net/forums/

Rather than have us all create new threads for every minor thing going on in our lives, we all share a common small talk thread here in General Discussion. It's just a place for us to talk about minor events that don't really warrant a unique thread, what's on our mind at the time, and so forth.

Just no mindless spam, plz k thx.

[Edit: And yes I am aware that the biggest violator of that is me, so don't bother pointing that out. Mad Laughing ]

uhh... oh right. you said not to.

anyway. trying to write a more or less efficient sorting algorithm for an assignment. turns out, infinite loops arent so efficient. another fun thing right now involves doing a tutorial with 10 long-winded statistics questions. so pointless.

//endrant

ok im done, next?

Don't we already have a "What have you been up to today?" thread?

Actually that thread was just supposed to be me whining about my computer. I didn't realize people were going to use it as a "currently listening to-" esque thread.

Besides Chicken already won that thread. Very Happy

[Edit:

Today I finalized my Soul Schism Games Facebook chapter.

To be frank I'm getting a little annoyed at Webs, so I'll probably update this more frequently with information regarding all my Soul Schism Games.

On that note, TerraEarth: Dark Gaia Crisis sneak preview coming soon.
This will be a very short prequel game which is going to explain the events of the crisis that is mentioned in TE:A and happened five years before TE:A.

The first segment takes place on TerraEarth, where you can go to the towns and find out what life was like in them five years ago (and even see some of the people who will become main characters in TE:A and the life they led before it.)

After that you make your way through Hyrule, the Great Pyramid's secret sanctum and the Dark Comet.

I expect this game to be MUCH shorter than TE:A and I can practically hear the words "expansion pack" ringing in my ears, but whatev, it's something to tide you guys over until TE:B Very Happy ]

That's not what your mom said... last night.

Oh that one. Totally forgot about it. So did most of the board or so it seems.

Spoke to my cousin on Facebook today. I feel sorry for the guy so I agreed to hang out with him, but he wants to move in with me in August and I'm gonna have to say "hell no". Can't deal with anymore roommates.

Started work on the second Crisis story of the last week. I'm kind of glad I've waited this long- I think my brain had been creatively trying to solve certain issues that came up, and brand new ideas have sprouted. I think it's a more solid story than the previous volume.

I also watched "Justice League: New Frontier" and "Justice League Crisis on Two Earths." Both were pretty good, but I'm leaning toward New Frontier being the better of the two.

WAITING... ON PINS AND NEEDLES!

Also, word to the wise. If both your feet start to fall asleep from standing on them too long, never try to jolt them awake by jumping up and landing on them as hard as possible. Biting

We had a full house tonight and my co-worker told this one guy who had reserved a smoking room that if a non-smoking one became available, we'd get it to him.

That's fine.

He then said that there were two guests in non-smoking rooms and if they didn't show up, he could have one of their rooms.

UM, NO!

These people have reserved a room with a credit card and they are GUARANTEED that room. They are even paying for it whether they show up or not. So never tell a guest that we can give them another guests room, because we can't!

I had to talk this guy down and explain the situation to him. It didn't help that he only spoke fractured English.

Oh ick. Trying to talk to people who aren't fluent in a language is difficult and I hate doing that, especially when it's something important. Neutral

Speaking of work weeks, we had to fire the entire staff at our location across town. Which of course meant that I had to work on my day off. Mr. Green Lame.
