figured spam central was the place to post this.
im at my uni at the moment, using a mac (sigh, this is an example of why taking ergonomics too seriously should be a crime)
but yeah, you can invert colours on it. control+option+command+8
just browsed through TE, looking at people's sigs and display pics is quite awesome in inverted colours. as is the whole black/white/light blue colour scheme. looks very... wintery.
those of you who have access to a mac, try it. those who dont... consider yourselves lucky for now, but take a screenshot of a page with lots of sigs and/or DPs on it, paste into paint, and invert. trust me, it is worth the few seconds of your effort.

I used to use that in MS Paint like five years ago to invert images. I made some creepy "fake" horror movie posters and such, and it does give a sense of unease and creepiness to the inverted image.
