No, I'm not closing the forums or anything, buuuuut for tomorrow (July 12) I won't be around. I'll be going to see my bffs in San Francisco (my bffs = the sea lions HELL YES) and making my bank account cry by buying artbooks galore that probably will have to do with Ar tonelico (if I'm lucky they'll have the third world data book with my pervy dvd and I will be a happy camper).

Just know that I'll be going while singing this as my battlecry, and I'll be back on Tuesday at some point. Don't blow up the forums while your kween is gone, eh?

NO PERVY DVD WITH AN ARTBOOK, but I did manage to grab the all-compassing Breath of Fire complete works book for myself!

Oh, and I'm back. Very Happy

It was wonderful. Very Happy We've had horrible hot weather here in Reno, so the change of weather was nice (overcast with a breeze and it was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit and it was SOOOO NICE.)

And... it really depends on what you're looking for. There's a ton of touristy, gimmicky things there that can be avoided, though seeing the Golden Gate bridge is a must. I'm fond of the Japanese Tea Gardens myself, and if you go to Fisherman's Wharf, GO SEE THE SEA LIONS. Pier 39 (the super tourist section of the wharf) has them. There's also Boudin's Sourdough Bread Co. who has the clam chowder in the bread bowl and Bubba Gump. Haight street has hippies and pot. Japan Center is... uh, well obvious, and China Town I would recommend in a very small dose. The restaurants are amazing though.

Alllllllso the crooked road. Very Happy

We have a Bubba Gump in the city... I visited there once, got myself a ping-pong ball and a hat that says "Private Gump." Pretty unique place. I didn't get to eat there... their food any good on that end of the coast?

Yeah, I've definately always wanted to see the GGB in my life. I intend in the next few years to take a trip out West, probably see Vegas and LA.

Just out of curiosity; whats the "Crooked Road?"

I've only had their bread pudding, but it was really good. One of their drinks is delicious. It's nicknamed "Smile in a cup" for the fact that you smile after taking a drink. It's non-alcoholic, before you ask, though there is an alcoholic version (never had, I was underage anyway when I originally had the drink.)

The crooked road is exactly that, but for a reason. Lombard Street is pretty cool though.
