Libra's death is far too uneventful for his flashy personality. A single round pierces his heart, shot by Chicken. He falls on the ground, a ruined shamble of a man.

"So, one has passed?" Psychokind sighs.

"And we are still no closer to stopping them," Vladrac adds. "This was a showman. Not a warrior."

"Yeah he didn't seem to be the strongest," Chicken agrees. "We'll have to do something about the others."

"Shouldn't we head south now? I thought the plan was to meet at the Gold Coast when we were done," Psychokind asks.

"You're following orders?" Chicken asked, stunned.

"I'm eager to rid the world of this mortal blight. I take their offense against my nature more personally. If that means I am to cooperate than so be it, but do not mistake it for subservience," Psychokind says proudly.

Chicken nods. "Sounds good. What about you Vladrac? You look in rough shape."

"I am my lord's bodyguard and oldest friend. Where he goes, I go," Vladrac nods.

"So be it. To the Gold Coast then," Chicken says.

"Hahah," The Alpha Wolf laughs. "You fight pretty good."

And with that she is enveloped by a bright light. When the light fades, standing in the clearing with Freedan is a woman with dark black hair, wearing a trenchcoat and the symbol for Virgo on her back.

"Virgo? One of the Brotherhood?" Freedan asks, noticing with some dismay that the other werewolves have fled.

"We figured if we rattled some sabers here somebody would come. I would never guess it would have been you, puppy," Virgo smirks.

Virgo passes Freedan a talisman.

"What's this?"

"It's how I've learned to control my form," Virgo smiles. "A gift from me to you."

Freedan looks at the talisman, it is in the shape of the full moon. Upon touching it, Freedan changes back to his human form.

"The Brotherhood are working towards controlling and understanding the paranormal. We've developed more than just drugs. We've unearthed many unique artifacts that can bring us to a better understanding of them. We're doing this for all human kind!"

"Then why try to turn our own people into zombies?" Freedan asked.

Virgo shrugged. "Call it evolutionary reaction if you will. Zombies do not know disease or death. They may appear brainless, but in actuality, with this particular strain of the drug, can remain almost completely human."

"What do you mean?" Freedan asked.

"Their memories, likes and dislikes, even emotions remain completely intact. But we've removed the imperfections of humanity. This strain shuts out the survival instinct of the species; or more acurately it separates the parts of the brain that make us act in greedy or selfish ways."

"Which no doubt makes them easier to control," Freedan cursed.

Virgo smirked again. "Free will is overrated. Personal rights, and choices only slow down progress. We need to unify everything. And with the Orb of Control and the Z Virus, we can make it happen."

"And I suppose you've taken this strain of the virus?" Freedan asked.

"Actually, we all have," Virgo nods. "I can feel it taking over me right now in fact. I'm already feeling less..."

Something changed in her eyes. The human light went out.

"No... that's not right..." she whispered to herself. "That part of the drug was taken out..."

"What's going on?" Freedan asked, taking a cautious step towards her.

"This wasn't supposed to happen!" Virgo cries, her beautiful hair falling out in clumps.

Within moments her withering corpse lay on the forest clearing. It begins to crawl towards her with the soulless look of any ordinary zombie Freedan had ever run across.

With one piteous squeeze, he fired a round into her head, finishing her.

"Natal, we're heading to the Gold Coast," Freedan explained.

"But what about the war?" Natal asked.

"It's over," Freedan explained. "Let's move."

"Another part of my own Orb of Control," inferiare smiles darkly.

"Indeed," comes a voice over the waves. A ripple appears on the surface of the water. A head covered in long dark black hair appears. The hair covers the man's face as he walks towards the shore.

He wears a dark black trenchcoat, with the symbol for Aquarius adorning it.

"Funny," inferiare smirks.

"What's funny?" Aquarius asks, turning his head around on his neck. The hair had not been covering his face at all; it had been the back of his head.

"What the hell?!" inferiare demands, taking a step back.

"We were all given a bit of the virus you know. The virus will perfect humanity, by giving us all the greatest traits of the undead. The strength of werewolves, the determination of the Ju-On, the vitality and nobility of the Vampire, the calm temper and all-knowning demeanor of the ghost," Aquarius babbles.

"And what trait do you get from us zombies?" inferiare demands.

"The selfless mindset, the realization that the needs of the great overwhelms the need of the one," Aquarius smirks. "And you're easily controlled nature."

"Do I seem easily controlled to you?" inferiare asks.

"So far, you are, my lady," Aquarius bows. "I will leave this city be for now. I must go join my cousins the shark, but I shall see you quite soon."

And with that, he turns his head backwards once more and marches backwards into the ocean.

"What the hell..." inferiare shudders. "I'd better head to the Gold Coast."

You drink glass D, and suddenly begin to feel quite sick.

"You drank the poisoned one," the man smirks.

You feel the sickness flow through your veins, but within moments it seems to even out."

"And now I tell you what you must know, Master Sergeant," The congressman says, pointing a gun at his own head. The other patrons of the bar push each other over making their way towards the exit. "That is the true Z Virus that the Aegis Corporation developed. It will make you weaker at first and then stronger. But if you don't stop Pisces, you will be nothing more than his slave."

"Who are you?" Blade demands.

"I was the congressman who supported funding their projects. And so to repay me, they gave me the first test. It was supposed to make me strong, but controllable. And I refuse to be controlled."

"I don't understand!" Blade shouts.

"You will soon enough... or you'll die like all the rest," The congressman laughs loudly as he pulls the trigger. He falls to the ground a ruined mass of life.

Blade looks at his hands, which already show signs of graying from the infection. He smashes the glasses remaining on the table and storms out the door to his APC, heading in the direction of the Gold Coast.

"Sagittarius! Where are you?!" EverPhoenix shouts, rushing through the crowd.

"I'm here," comes a soft and gentle voice from behind him.

EverPhoenix turns to see a ghost of the same man that had been on the stand not a few hours ago.

"I don't understand..." EverPhoenix gasps.

"We tried to control things we could not. We tried to alter the Z Virus to give it traits of the greatest features of the undead. And poor Walker died trying to let us see the error of our ways," Sagittarius moans.

"And you..."

"We gave ourselves the treatments. They would have been the final doses, each dose tailored to our specific biology. Mine simply overpowered my weak heart."

"So you're really dead? This isn't a trick?" EverPhoenix asks.

"Our days are numbered. Mine simply ran out. I am already damned for my crimes, I cannot hope for redemption," Sagittarius sighs.

A dark shadowy figure wraps around Sagittarius's ghost.

"I go to Hell, where I belong for my sins. But it can all be undone. If you defeat Pisces, there may yet be hope for all of us..."

The dark shadow swoops in fiercely and the ghost disappears, leaving a soft smell of brimstone in the air.

"Okay.... to the Gold Coast," EverPhoenix nods, shaken.

EVERYBODY READ

"Three out of four isn't bad," chicken nods.

"You fool, haven't you been paying attention?" Psychokind shouts.

"Sure have," chicken replies. "But let's break it down to basics for me."

"For you indeed," Vladrac curses.

"The Brotherhood developed a special version of the Z Virus. This strain was going to give humans the special abilities of the undead, the most beneficial traits," inferiare explained. "Strength of werewolves, vitality of the vampires, calm demeanor of ghosts, determination and resolve of Ju-Ons, and zombies collective nature."

"They all took strains of the virus themselves, designed to match their own unique gifts," EverPhoenix replied.

"And they all died so far," Freedan sighs.

"Death is such a funny word," comes a voice. Out of the water walks Aquarius. "Can you kill that which is already dead?"

"Careful," inferiare warns. "Aquarius favored the traits of the Ju-On the best."

"You'll all meet the same fate in the end!"
