The fanboy in me is both excited and disappointed after I read this:
Original Stars/Creators Planning Sequel _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. It's also a completely different way of living when you know that...a different species of person." - Lana Del Rey

I thought the same thing, but my brother dawned a rather harsh reality:
No Rufus. George Carlin passed away two years ago. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Rufus undergoes plastic surgery to look younger....and like someone else entirely. Problem solved.
But when would a third film be set in the Bill&Ted-verse? By now, they would've made the world like, totally radical dude! It would have to be quite some time later, as I can't imagine them being able to pull off looking/acting believably like teenagers anymore (though they weren't even in their teens when they made the first film, were they?) - maybe it could be about their kids, by the princesses, now all grown up? That would kinda relegate Bill and Ted to minor roles a bit, but they could still be there to give advice and stuff.
Be excellent to each other! \_o_/ _________________

The talk is potentially using the Avatar technology. The old Bill and Ted would travel through time to be sort of "Rufus-guidance like" to the young Bill and Ted. Using the photo-realistic Avatar technology, they could make those two look 20 again. However they do it, we'll have to see... _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it.
