Epic picture commission of epicness.....your thoughts?

Okay well, not really just yet, but it will be.

Y'see, I want to celebrate my return to work with an epic picture commission, the likes of which I could've never afforded on benefits. XD It will feature the entire good cast of the Gaia trilogy, plus...well, just about any other good characters from any of the other Quintet games for the SNES that I can think of (and a few from Granstream Saga, just for the hell of it). It's something for me to save up, 'cos this one's gonna be huuuge.

But my question is...what should they all be doing? At first, I thought maybe a bigger version of my Gaia trilogy "walking away from an explosion", but I've done that already, I think it would be a cliché to revisit it now. Then I thought maybe have 'em all sitting around a campfire, sharing all their various adventures.....yes?

if you ask me... I want a high-res vectorized few-color picture in modern anime style. I can then print it as poster and put it in my room however, you have to get a much better artist for that.

It should be a full-blown scene. Two characters talking to one another while another watches them from the other side of the picture. One character has an accident of some kind and gets -.- faces from those around him. There should be a lot going on; make it the kind of picture that you can look at a bunch of times and notice something different.

It should totally be like the ending of Return of the Jedi. Except, Blazer Will and Ark are the three ghosts. As for the "Luke-ish" character... I dunno.

i wanna see ark and the chickens in the weaving mill, i always found that idea somewhat hilarious with elle, making a face and all the other old ladies screaming and running in terror ^^

Arks pranks at the beginning are just one of the many things that give Terranigma it's special edge!

I agree with Jason, something where everyone is together, but they're all doing different things. Mix it up too, don't have Will, Kara, and Lily doing this while Ark and Elle do that and Blazer and Lisa do this. Have characters from different games doing things together. Maybe a couple girls whispering to each other while Ark plays some kind of prank on Neil who's busy working on an invention next to Erik who is standing awkward because he has to pee but is too nervous to ask Blazer where the bathroom is because he doesn't want to interrupt Blazer praying or Will for that matter, who is serenading Kara and a couple girls, except for Lily, who is busy sleeping in Lance's arms, while Lance and Lune listen to a story by Olman....

And so on, in that fashion.

i think tay's idea is amazing.

but, another good thing would be a random place, where everyone (the main characters) is doing something that is totally not heroic but relevant to their story in some way:

ark and elle, walking through a garden or something with a building with delicate embroidery on it, and chickens around. will and kara maybe sitting around a fire, with the other crew, will playing his flute. lily in lance's arms is also good. and blazer and lisa can be looking at a painting.

something like that maybe?

Reading your suggestions, I think they're all really brilliant....

...but I have to agree, I think Tay's bloody NAILED it with that description of his. Folks, I do believe we have a winner!

While Tay's idea is excellent - and will be used at some point, there are two problems that I must address with regards to it.

1) Monies. I know Arabatos' pricing scheme, it'll take a while to save up for a pic this big. Quite a while indeed.

2) Description. He's a great guy, and a brilliant artist, but his command of teh English isn't so hot (though still better than my knowledge of Spanish, which is nil). It will have to be worded veeeeery carefully.... ^_^;;;
