I stopped when I was around 13, so i'm not, lol.
Although, i've always wanted to dress up as a Victorian-era lady. Like one of these.
Too expensive though. =[

no. halloween isnt really happening around here. i mean, everybody knows halloween but if the TV stations werent like "ZOMG we need to air creepy movies and the TREEHOUSE OF HORROR series of the simpsons" i guess i wouldnt even notice it would be time for halloween.
i remember, when i was like 13 or 14 or so, some kids were coming around in their wannbe-ghost costumes and stuff and they were asking for sweets. i couldnt believe it. i so wanted to see what they'd do if they didnt get some. but my mom really gave them something we were stockpiling and that stuff possibly wasnt even edible anymore but they moved along _________________

I've been trying to purchase the necessities to be Squall from FF8... I got as far as the Gunblade, and nothing else.
I'll probably recycle like last year, either Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. It's a harvest holiday. Isn't the German Oktoberfest pretty much the same thing (only with less focus on scary and more focus on beer and polka?)
Halloween is awesome. It's an excuse to get scary and I always take it very serious (cause Halloween is srs bsns)
Last year, of course, I went as a Pirate. I'm thinking I'll go as a ninja this year to balance out the cosmos, lol.
No, my costume this year is a zombie clown. It's pimp. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

the only sense of oktoberfest is to get dead drunk while trying not to land face-down in the omnipresent pool of beer, vomit, blood and piss you are walking in. _________________

Speaking of that, have you heard of Rob Zombie's remakes of Halloween I and II? |

In my tired state, I can't tell if that is sarcasm or not. Speaking of which, they weren't recycled garbage- that might make people think there was something redeeming about either one.
They are both fricken horrible. The opening part of H1 was actually good- it was a Rob Zombie story ala TDR and actually built up quite well. Sheri Moon actually delivered a good portrayal of the damaged Mrs. Myers. However, as soon as the meat of the story began- Halloween night when MM is a man- lost all the luster, and was a rushed version of a much superior original.
Don't even get me started on H2, with the "White horse" and all that other non-sensical stuf... except, of course, for Weird Al. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. I'm going to be dressing up as a Legends of the Hidden Temple contestant. I have my Blue Barracudas shirt and my gold helmet with a mouth guard. I'm set. If you are lost, google it. |

Oh my god dude, you just won the thread!
I was a Silver Serpent fan myself. You should see the Facebook Group: "I hate it when kids suck at putting the Shrine of the Silver Monkey together."
That show and Global Guts occupied so many hours of my childhood. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Mike O Malley and Guts... what was that girls name? The slightly British one from Guts?
Ahh, Nick of old... how I miss you. Pete and Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts... gone are the days of quality childrens' programming. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Hey Arnold, man. I was all about that show. Rocko's Modern Life. And Are You Afraid of the Dark. My friend has every single episode on DVD. Some nights we burn through two or three disks of that.
[Edit: And All That. That show was great.
