From what I heard, xbox 360 use removeable battery packs and recharging bay. Why recharging bay rather than plugin ports?
If you compare slimline PS2 size with Revolution's, it was small but much wider than slimline PS2. It's kind like Gamecube being flated.
And I'm glad that Nintendo decided to use regular cds instead of mini version. Playing DVD on consoles dont matter to me since I perfer DVD player better. _________________

Damn. Just at a glance, if that is real, it's about the size of a VCR cassette.
I'm still skeptical until anything is confirmed by the big N themselves though.
Edit: While we're posting new stuff about the REE-VO-LOO-SHEE-ON, I figured I'd post this from IGN.
IGN wrote: | New details regarding Nintendo's next-generation console, codenamed Revolution, have started to sprinkle onto the Internet. The machine, which will be revealed during Nintendo's pre-E3 2005 show on Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, will sport a slick, black design and a front blue light.
Revolution will be "two-to-three times more powerful than GameCube," according to Nintendo, which also acknowledges that the next-generation race isn't solely about new technologies. By contrast, Microsoft's Xbox 360 console is 13-15 times more powerful than the first, according to the publisher. And Sony says it's PlayStation 3 is roughly 35 times more powerful than PlayStation 2.
Nintendo also revealed that using Revolution's new Wi-Fi connection, gamers would be able to go online to a free gamer-matching service. Interestingly, in a move similar to Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service, Revolution users will be able to download classic and new Nintendo games over the Internet. Nintendo cited such examples as Donkey Kong and Super Mario Sunshine, which suggests that Revolutionaries could have access to games for all the publisher's previous consoles. |
2 to 3 times as powerful as the Gamecube? Damn... the Cube is no slouch as it is. And downloading old games?
(I think Sony might be exaggerating a bit.) _________________

I think that with the PS3 we have reached the limit off what speed we will ever need for videogames for at least 20 years.
Nintendo never focused on speed, they always focus on gameplay. |

More general info about the Revo.
Probably doesn't tell us anything we don't already know, but I'm always up for reading more stuff. _________________

They haven't revealed much at all, really. They're nervous about the other two stealing their ideas (and rightfully so). There's still time before the others come out for them to change their system to accommodate Nintendo's ideas and cut them off.
Once the release dates get closer, Nintendo will tell all. _________________

The president from Nintendo sayd that IBM and ATI are working to make sure that the gamers say 'wow' when they see the graphics.. however I bet people will mock it in front of the PS3 and XBOX360 |

Probably. Fortunately, graphics don't mean shit.
Presentation IS important, but I'd rather have Nintendo devote their resources to quality gameplay. I'd rather play a game that plays awesome than one that looks pretty. Anyone who really appreciates games would say the same. _________________

Now I got me list made, in no particular order!
Revo
PS3
Gameboy Micro [maybe]
I am basically going in the same pattern I did last gen.
I like the Revo's look, and the GC ports. Unfortuneatly, the look of each system isn't all that different in retrospect. _________________

Excuse me for bum you with some shocking news:
Revolution is still codename for big N's next-generation console until E3 2006. And Revolution case you saw in pictures isnt final one but last-minute for E3 05. Also, Nintendo will reveal more serious information on their next-generation console, perhaps will show up with top-secret controllers . Game Boy Micro is real and final one. Its codename is Oxy.
