"The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the set Thursday during a contentious interview with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.
As the cast debated whether there should be a community center and mosque built in Lower Manhattan, O'Reilly declared that "Muslims killed us on 9/11" to back up his position that it's "inappropriate."
"Oh my God!" Goldberg responded, before uttering a few words bleeped out.
[Rewind: Whoopi's bizarre behavior draws attention]
"Muslims didn't kill us on 9/11?" O'Reilly responded. "Is that what you're saying?"
Goldberg called O'Reilly an "extremist" as several of the co-hosts responded to O'Reilly's statement that "Muslims" -- and not Muslim radicals, extremists or terrorists -- killed "us" on 9/11.
[Rewind: Tearful Elisabeth Hasselbeck sorry for Erin Andrews attack]
Behar, who had told O'Reilly that Muslims have a right to build it because "this is America," said that she no longer "want[ed] to sit here now" after the Fox star's remarks. Behar and Goldberg then left the studio.

Come on, man, seriously? Dehumanizing an entire religion like that is so damned ignorant. I've said it once and I'll say it again. Terrorists HAVE NO GOD. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

i read it kinda fast and lost my temper.
._. im so embarrassed. that wasnt an excuse, i know...
(now that i think about it, i should have used the word media instead, since they're the bigger idiots, but i don't think that's apart of this either)
now that im calmer, i do see the real argument. o'reily was an idiot for saying that. hopefully he'll think it over >> unless his pride is just too much to stick to that little theory of his...
>> i'll just sink back now... so i wont embarrass myself like that again. sorry for offending everyone. |

The View is stupid.
And it's been well-documented that O'Reilly is a dbag. _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

First, Bill O'Reilly is an idiot.
Second, he said what he said not only to stir up controversy (thus drawing attention to himself to fulfill his crushing need for attention), but because when someone calls him on his bullshit statement, he can justify it with semantics.
Yes, technically, it was 'Muslims' that attacked America, in the sense that the people involved were Muslim. The problem is in the implied meaning; that all Muslims are the enemy. But after he gets a thorough beating on every talk show that decides to pay attention to him, he'll run back to his show and say "I meant the attackers were Muslim, why's everyone getting so bent out of shape?", and paint himself as the victim. _________________

I love it when people try to claim innocence over barbed comments like that. It's so easy to call bullshit on them! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
