Okay, that was just to grab attention. What I need to know is, would we, as a community, rather have a Facebook group, or a Fan Page?

I think a Fan Page would be more appropriate, but then, I could be wrong. I'm going to go with the majority vote on this one.

Also! I will be awarding Gems

1,000 to whomever can provide me with a decent logo for our site to use on Facebook. Something about the size of an avatar, but that represents TerraEarth well.

what exactly are the pros and cons of either? is there any difference? apart from "joining" a group and "liking" a fanpage...

I'd say group. there's already an overall "Terranigma" fansite, besides we're the group of people from TerraEarth, and not fans of ourselves Very Happy

im kinda leaning towards group (gosh, i should join that, shouldn't i?), because like psychokind said, we would be fans of, well, ourselves if we went with a fanpage. not that i'm complaining. teeheehee!

but who knows? we'll try both and let time figure out which is better

Group, but it could go either way. The functunality as a Group is better, I think. The problem is we really haven't found a way to make it too popular in terms of activity. There should either be FB exclusive stuff or it should offer some feature the forums don't, aside from seeing us as we really are.

Well, I may end up doing both. The group can be invite only for forum members and the fan page can be for advertising our site to new peeps.
