I planned on adding those pics later on actually. Jason is in charge of the Terranigma section, though. I'll make sure he knows.

If you do add some of those, make sure you link back to where you get them, especially if they come off of pixiv. Japanese artists can and will get very angry if you don't ask permission or link back to the original.

it's a good idea i think, except some better pics for some might need to be found. mostly, the bloody mary pic. and a few of the minor support characters. i like most of the commission pieces YETI mentioned, but the fyda one doesnt quite suit i dont think.

nothing like that, i think she looks too... childish and innocent. for someone who has seen war and killings, even done a few herself in her time, she is just too... cute-looking i guess

Yes, Fyda does look a bit.... dainty... in that picture. It's an awesome picture, for sure, but throughout the game, she's shown to be a Lady-of-war soldier. She looks a little centerfoldish here.

Here's my interpretation of Roy.



The German captions are translated as such (and rather loosely):

Fyda
She is a daring warrior who is set on protecting the life of Melina from Storkolm. She also helps you out of trouble in one or another situation.

Ma-Jo ( I know I played it in German, but I can't remember his name anymore...they changed a few of them in the German version, but that's all I know)
The grandfather of Mei-Lin. He is a well travelled man that has experienced a lot. His knowledge helps you get around in the small village Lhasa.

Roy
The mysterious Roy meets you in specific points in the game. Even though you don't trust him in the beginning, he often has useful tips for you.

Mei-Lin
Mei-Lin meets you in the ghost town Luran. The girl possesses the ability... (the verb got cut off, but I can imagine they're talking about her ability to create illusions of people)

So really, nothing unusual or special about the captions.

Ja, I forgot to mention it was a hypothetical picture of if they actually did fight.

I imagined he would have to have been slightly evil looking, or else he wouldn't somehow be foreboding to Ark. At the beginning, he's a bit of an ass, and keeps boasting about how much better he is than Ark. It's not really obvious he's on your side until much later in the game anyways.

and its him being an ass, with awesome music, is what made him one of my favourite npcs (after dark elle, of course )

I figured he should look older since I think he said he was older than Ark, and he seems to be an experienced character anyways.

I guess I imagined he wouldn't be saying those nasty things to Ark unless he was as old as I imagined him to be.
