So the Nintendo 3DS is releasing on March 27 for $249. (March 25 in Europe)

It's got a 3D camera, Internet, downloadable games, plays all current DS software, you can transfer previously downloaded DSiWare games to it, and it comes with a charger stand! (neat!)

Also, there will be roughly 27 games available by the end of June. Mostly so-so titles. Zelda, Star Fox, and Kid Icarus won't be available until later in the year.

I will have to admit i'm an idiot and a fairy lol :)

Even when the 3DS seems awesome i can't afford to buy it.. i don't even have a DS o.o and it has a great catalog of games..

EDIT: i forgot to say, i really want to try Kid Icarus Uprising.. not for the fact that i liked the NES game.. but because it was made by my favorite designer in the industry.. you know who i am talking about: Sakurai! And i love kirby games :3

Sakurai is among my favorite designers as well. Incidentally, there's supposed to be a new Kirby game coming out this year for regular DS consoles.

i'll get one when more games appear on it. i'm perfectly content with my current ds, and unless there's anything awesome on the 3ds (like pokemon) i'll wait.

I'm going to admit something here I've never told any other gamer- I have never owned a handheld system. Hold the gasps- I'm not a fan of them, even if there are some incredible games out there. So, chances are, I'll let this one pass by. Besides, in two years, Nintendo will have the 5D DSIxtreme Renegade Badass handheld system that is powered by YOUR MIND... we can salivate over that when it gets released.

I been have Zelda DSlite for almost four years and it's time to replace it with new, improved DS. Good thing that I have great patience and it paid well.
I put my $50 deposit on new 3DS few days ago.

P.S. 3DS will get its own Virtual Library of GB and GBC games (WTF? NO GBA GAMES?!?).

3D is kinda overrated, so unless the price drops, no thanks.

Although it would be cool to play zelda: OOT on it.

For now my DSi XL will do fine. =]

Not on day one. I wouldn't mind getting one some time, because there's a fair bit coming out that I'd like to play, but not until after the price drops.

I used to wait for price drops, but Nintendo has been kind of a bitch about that ever since the Wii and DS Lite started doing well.

I retract my earlier statement, after using it it is so fucking worth it. I'll be getting it when Zelda comes out. Will be very interesting to see what other amazing games get remakes for it (majoras mask or even wind waker?)
